Student Monitor – Lead

The Position:

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is seeking a Student Monitor Lead for the 2024-2025 school year. This position provides student supervision during the school day, lunch, and study hall class periods. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a personal, active, and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Demonstrate behavior aligned with CVCA’s mission statement, statement of faith, core values, cultural priorities, policies, and expectations.
  • Faithfully uphold CVCA in prayer.
  • Serve as the point person for the lunch details with larger groups, specifically at the high school level.
  • Ensure all lunch spaces are organized and ready.
  • Support lunch staff with challenges that may come up during the lunch details.
  • Provide student supervision during the day for assigned study hall locations. (This includes handling the attendance process, sign-in/out procedures, and managing a quiet, supervised study hall location.)
  • Provide student supervision during daily lunch periods.
  • Assist with cleaning up after lunch and preparing the location for the next class period (cleaning tables, storing chairs, etc.).
  • Monitor students during the lunch line and their dismissal for recess (if applicable), restroom, office, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or related GED
  • Minimum of 1 year working with students in a school setting
