It’s Time to Advance the Mission

This is a challenging time for developing young teens as they search for purpose, identity, and truth in a culture of confusion and distractions. We believe that CVCA has been placed here to EQUIP mission-fit students to find their answers in Christ and to TRAIN them to live for Him. To continue to do that well, we need to Advance the Mission and raise the bar on what it means to Educate and Cultivate Servants for Christ. We must steward and prioritize our resources effectively and invest now to create even greater mission excellence for a deeper and broader missional impact.

Why is Mission Advancement needed?

In today’s ever-shifting culture, we cannot and should not isolate ourselves. Instead, we must work even harder to prepare our students to stand for Truth and to show them that a firm foundation of faith will sustain them through the challenges of this world. In light of that goal, we must advance our school’s mission of Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ by strategically investing more in our PEOPLE, FACILITIES, and PROGRAMS.

Our People

Our faculty and staff must be fully equipped to increase innovative experiences in the classroom and given time to intentionally build relationships as mentors.

With more time, training, and resources, a flourishing staff will Advance the Mission.

Our Facilities

Our facilities must provide more space for students to learn, grow, and connect as a biblical community.

With more classrooms and designated collaboration spaces, our enhanced physical plant will allow us to Advance the Mission.

Our Programs

We must provide deeper and wider opportunities to engage students at every point of interest. Wherever their heart is, we want to be there, equipped to teach, connect, and be used by the Lord to transform lives.

Increased intentional programming will Advance the Mission.

What does Mission Advancement look like?

We are growing! It has been exciting to welcome more families to CVCA, but this enrollment growth has resulted in max capacity for our current square footage. As we matriculate our larger middle school numbers into high school with our typical 94% retention rate, we are projected to turn away hundreds of mission-fit students over the next few years. To meet the needs of this growth, the new space will provide:

  • Additional Pick-up & Drop-off Entrance
  • Ten New Classrooms
  • Additional Science Lab
  • Unique Student Collaboration Areas
  • Faculty Planning Areas
  • Courtyard with Outdoor Learning Areas
  • Reduced Hallway and Traffic Congestion

We have been adapting and increasing the size of our middle school faculty and staff to create more time for preparation, creativity, and connection. This improved student-to-adult ratio allows for more discipleship and learning touch points. We will increase the size of our high school faculty and staff similarly over the next two years.

We are analyzing, adding, and enhancing curricular and co-curricular programs to allow for more pivotal encounters and meaningful conversations that are so vital in the CVCA community.

Where are we now?

We have been strategically planning how to Advance the Mission for well over a year. In that time, we have watched the Lord work amazingly through His people. While many in our community have already committed to funding the school’s recent additions and enhancements, the Lord has moved in the hearts of new and current donors to provide $6M of this $6.7M Campaign for Mission Advancement Humbled by these gracious gifts and pledges, we are moving forward in faith, knowing that we need your help to finish the campaign.

How can you help?

We are deeply thankful for the generous gifts that have already brought us this close to our goal. Will you prayerfully consider a one, two, or three-year commitment to allow us to Advance the Mission of CVCA?

Through faith, design plans and preliminary construction have begun.

Our goal is to have construction completed to fully utilize these improvements by August 2024.
