Alumni

We all spent time in northeast Ohio, but experiences and families have taken us around the world. Take a minute to update us on where you are and what’s going on in your life – and maybe you’ll be featured in our Alumni Newsletter or The Trumpeter.

Fiddler on the Roof Alumni Reception

If you haven’t heard, The Royal Theatre is doing Fiddler on the Roof as its Spring Musical this year! You can order tickets to any of the performances by clicking on the button below. BUT, there will be an alumni dessert reception after the matinee performance on Saturday, April 30. Stick around after the musical to catch up with all your pals and eat some goodies!

THE EBENEZER PROJECT: Stories of God’s Faithfulness

In celebration of CVCA’s 50th year, we presented a new video series called “The Ebenezer Project.” This series celebrates God’s faithfulness to CVCA through stories told by our alumni.

“Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen and called its name Ebenezer (which means “the stone of help”), for he said, “Till now the LORD has helped us!” 1 Samuel 7:12

THE JOHN F. RASNICK CENTER

Have you heard the news? CVCA is getting a facelift! The cornerstones of this addition are the establishment of the John F. Rasnick Center glass atrium and upgrades to the Anne Tell Chapel.

A key to accommodate growth and create a more welcoming environment, the John F. Rasnick Center will increase capacity for visitors and students by 300 and will provide space for numerous multi-use opportunities.

The Anne Tell Chapel updates will accommodate our growing enrollment and enhance Chapel and Fine Arts experiences for our CVCA families and the local community.

House Sorting

Interested in the new House System at CVCA? Learn more about it HERE, then you can choose to sort yourself into one of the Houses! If you don’t choose, you will be assigned to a House based on your graduating year.

Disclaimer: While the end goal is to keep families together in the same Houses, the alumni House sorting isn’t binding–so your future CVCA family members may not follow in your House footsteps.

House Sorting Rules

  1. If you have a family member at CVCA who is already in a House, you should choose their House
  2. If you have a preferred House, you can choose whichever one you’d like
  3. If you would like to be virtually sorted, you can use THIS CVCA Alumni House Sorting Wheel to choose your House for you.
  4. If you don’t choose, you will get sorted automatically by your graduating class.
  5. When you have decided which House to be in, fill out THIS form so we know where to sort you!
