Traffic Flow
We are navigating campus a little differently this year! As simultaneous construction projects are underway, we are committed to keeping you updated every step of the way, knowing what an incredible blessing it is to “make room for the mission” through these new spaces. We are deeply grateful for the city planners and traffic engineers who have worked hard to keep our campus traffic flowing as smoothly as possible during this season. Stay tuned for specific traffic flow details and instructions coming this week.
New Student/Parent Orientation
All new students and parents are invited to Orientation on Wednesday, August 12! We will introduce our team, hand out Chromebooks, tour the building, set up lockers, and meet other new families. You can also shop spirit wear, meet with Athletics, and ask questions. Details are available HERE.
New 8-12th Grade Student Orientation
An orientation session specifically for new 8th-graders and new high school students will be held on August 14 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Rasnick Center. This will be a great time for them to connect with other new students, familiarize themselves with school resources, and learn about CVCA’s culture and expectations. Students should bring their fully charged Chromebooks, which will be given out at New Student and Parent Orientation on August 12.
Yondr: Phone-Free Campus
To boost student focus and well-being, CVCA is going phone-free from 7:50 AM to 2:50 PM. Students will lock their phone, smartwatch, and AirPods in a school-issued Yondr bag during the school day. For urgent needs, please call the main office at 330-929-0575. For non-urgent messages, students can reach you using StudentSquare on their Chromebooks. If your child requires a velcro medical pouch, please submit a request form to the CVCA Health Clinic. Learn more about Yondr HERE.
Full policy details are available in the 2026-2027 Student/Parent Handbook, which will be available through Parent Square.
Orah: Attendance Upgrades
We are upgrading our school safety and attendance systems by transitioning from School Messenger to Orah. Using RFID-enabled student ID cards, students arriving late or departing early will scan in and out, giving us accurate, real-time location tracking. Parents will also use Orah directly to report absences and request passes. Stay tuned for login details as we roll out this new platform!
Parentsquare
We are excited to introduce ParentSquare, our new all-in-one hub for school news, permission slips, athletics, and handbooks! Upon your first login, simply verify your child’s information to unlock customized updates for each student you have at CVCA. Parents will receive updates via text or push notifications, making staying connected easier than ever.
New Student Page
Are you new to CVCA? Be sure to check out our New Student Page for more details and all your back-to-school resources.

PLEASE PRAY
Please pray for our new and returning students. Pray that God would take hold of their hearts and minds for the gospel this year. Pray for our faculty and staff as we live out the mission of Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ.
