Your first Royal Weekly of the 2025-2026 school year is here! Published each Monday, this newsletter provides the latest CVCA news, event details, and announcements for both parents and students. For your convenience, past issues of the Royal Weekly are available on the MY CVCA page of our school website. As school is quickly approaching, there are plenty of important items to share, so please take a few minutes to read through today’s post.
Class Schedules
Class schedules will be available the week of August 4.
- New families, please bring a printed copy of your schedule to New Student/Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 6. You will have the opportunity to walk your schedule and get familiar with the building.
- High school students with a study hall during the first or last period of a day can request late arrival or early dismissal. Please submit this form for approval.
NEW STUDENT/PARENT ORIENTATION – August 6
All NEW students and parents are invited to Orientation on August 6 where we will welcome you into the CVCA community as we introduce ourselves and share information about the start of the school year. Students will receive their Chromebooks, have time to walk their schedule, set up lockers, and meet other new families. There will also be opportunities to purchase apparel, meet with Athletics, and ask questions.
STUDENT/PARENT HANDBOOK – AUGUST 7 DEADLINE
Both students and parents are required to sign the CVCA Student/Parent Handbook by August 7. Parents can find the handbook through FACTS. Students will receive a separate email with a signature link. (New students will receive their CVCA email address at Orientation on August 6.)
Attendance Policy
Please note changes to the attendance policies for the 2025-2026 school year. Information and forms can be found HERE.
Families must notify the Administration of absences by using the School Messenger app, web portal, or phone line.

- Phone calls and emails to the Main Office will be redirected to the School Messenger platform.
- To request late arrival or early dismissal privileges, a parent or guardian must fill out this Google form.
retreat week
All of our students will celebrate the return to school with class retreats. These are great times to connect as a student body, have some fun, and welcome new students. More information to come. The dates are as follows:
- Grade 6 – Ignition – August 11-12
- Grade 7 – JumpStart – August 12-14
- Grade 8 – Launch Point – August 14-15
- All High School – Fall Fest – August 15
- Grade 12 – Senior Retreat – August 17-18
Parent Coffees
Parents are invited to meet other CVCA parents and enjoy a cup of coffee on us! Look for the Travelin’ Toms Coffee Truck near the Royals Fieldhouse.
- 6th Grade Parents – August 11, 7:45-9:15 a.m. – During Ignition Drop-off
- 7th Grade Parents – August 12, 3:15-4:30 p.m. – During JumpStart Drop-off
- 8th Grade Parents – August 14, 1:45-4:00 p.m. – During Launch Point Drop-off
- New High School Parents – August 21, 7:15-9:00 a.m.

MIDDLE-SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Ignition and JumpStart Meetings – August 6
All 6th and 7th graders and their parents should attend their class retreat meeting on Wednesday, August 6 from 5:45 to 6:15 p.m. (There will be no meeting for 8th grade.)

SCHOOL AND COLLEGE COUNSELING
Christian College Fair – September 16
CVCA will host a Christian College Fair on Tuesday, September 16, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Royals Fieldhouse. Over forty Christian colleges from around the country will be represented. Learn more and register at findyourchristiancollege.com. This is an excellent opportunity to collect information and get answers to questions on majors, financial aid, college life, and other areas of interest. The fair is open to the public, and there are no fees or obligations.

How to Get Involved
Volunteers are a vital part of the CVCA community. There are some great ways you can get involved while getting to know faculty, staff, and other parents. We have opportunities for both men and women in many different areas and varying time commitments. To be added to our volunteer list, simply complete this Volunteer Form today, then watch this section of the Royal Weekly for exciting volunteer opportunities!
Now Hiring: Bus Driver for Field Trips & After-School Activities
CVCA is seeking a responsible and caring Bus Driver to support our students by providing transportation for field trips, athletic events, and after-school activities. If you have a heart for students and a desire to serve in a Christ-centered environment, we’d love to have you join our team! Apply HERE.

5k Run or Walk Girls Soccer team fundraiser – August 2
This fun family-friendly event is a great way to stay active while helping raise funds to grow and strengthen the Girls Soccer program. Whether you choose to walk, jog, or run, every step you take will directly support equipment, uniforms, travel expenses, and other needs for the team. Let’s come together as a community to encourage these young ladies both on and off the field. Thank you for helping us make a difference – one step at a time!
