DECEMBER 2025
2005 Class Reunion: A Sweet Return to Campus!
The Class of 2005 celebrated their milestone reunion with a memorable gathering on campus this past October. It was a wonderful chance for classmates to reconnect, reminisce, and see firsthand how much the school has grown and changed.
We were delighted to welcome back approximately 17 class members, several joined by their spouses. The afternoon was filled with laughter, catching up on life achievements, and sharing favorite memories from their school days.
Guests were treated to custom-made cake pops created by classmate Amy Mucha of Daisy Pops, each featuring an edible image of a Class of 2005 member’s face. This fun, personal touch was both a sweet treat and a great conversation starter – and it left everyone smiling.
Thank you to everyone who traveled to campus and helped make the reunion such a success.
To ensure we can stay in touch about future events and newsletters, please take a moment to update your contact information using the “Updates” button above. We’d also love your help reaching any Class of 2005 classmates who couldn’t attend. Please pass along the link and encourage them to update their details as well.
We look forward to seeing the Class of 2005 and all of our alumni at future events!

Royal Theatre Reunion and Update
On November 14, The Royal Theatre hosted a reunion for all Royal Theatre alumni following this year’s production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Alumni enjoyed fellowship and refreshments while reminiscing about their time on stage and behind the scenes.
Although Royal Theatre alumna Rachel Sandel Morse ’00 was unable to attend, she shared this exciting update – and a fun connection: Rachel’s mother, Karen Sandel, did the makeup for Royal Theatre productions throughout the late 1990s!
Rachel shared: A fun coincidence: on November 14, I will be attending my first rehearsal for “Annie” at a professional theatre here in Florida (emeraldcoasttheatre.org).
I started acting again this year (in a play called Always a Bridesmaid) after a 20-year hiatus (during which I got married, obtained a Harvard Law degree, practiced law for 16 years, and had three daughters). This will be my first musical performance since the spring of 2000, when I portrayed Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music at CVCA. At CVCA, I also performed in Annie (co-cast as Miss Hannigan), and this time around, I’ll be enjoying the role of Grace Farrell.
Thanks for the training, the commitment to excellence, and the wonderful memories!
CVCA Announces New Campaign
For many years, we have experienced tremendous growth, and are continually amazed by how God has provided for us. Each year, we welcome new students, talented faculty and staff, and families seeking a biblically based, academically excellent Christian education. We do not take this growth lightly. We believe God is calling us to respond to families seeking a community where their children can be trained, mentored, and consistently pointed toward our Savior.
As our middle school enrollment continues to increase, it has become clear that CVCA must create more space or risk turning families away. With the support of incredibly generous donors, we have decided to expand our campus so that we can continue teaching, training, and mentoring the next generation.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the For Such a Time as This building campaign! Thanks to the generous contributions from committed CVCA supporters, over $12 million has already been committed toward our $16 million goal. We are humbled and encouraged by the generosity already shown which allows us to move forward with confidence.
We invite you to learn more about the For Such a Time as This campaign through the button below. In the meantime, we ask that you join us in praying for CVCA, the success of this endeavor, and God’s guidance on how He may use you in this campaign to impact the next generation.
This Campaign will Provide:
14 New Middle School Classrooms (Including Labs) | Collaborative Learning Spaces | Dedicated Faculty Work Areas | Expanded Kitchen | Additional Locker Rooms | Additional Practice Field | Improved Parking and Traffic Flow
Friends of CVCA have a virtually cost-free way to make a meaningful impact on our students.
Thanks to Ohio’s state tax credit for gifts to the Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO), you can make a contribution that is designated specifically for CVCA student scholarships—and receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit, up to the allowed limit.
The OCEN SGO is a 501(c)(3) organization certified by the Ohio Attorney General that supports OCEN member schools like CVCA, helping make Christ-centered education more accessible for families.
