WEBSITE HIGHLIGHTS

Canvas or Family Portal?

Do you know the difference between Canvas and Family Portal? Both are easily accessed through the MY CVCA page and serve as valuable tools for CVCA families.

  • Canvas (LMS – Learning Management System) is the hub for academics. Students use it to submit assignments, track due dates, and engage with course materials.
  • Family Portal (FACTS) is designed for school-related business. Parents use it for payments such as field trips and activities. It also provides access to student transcripts, progress reports, and report cards – the only academic crossover with Canvas.

This summer, students in grades 10, 11, and 12 have a great opportunity to serve our middle schoolers in a big way. Student mentors act as “big brothers/sisters,” helping younger students during important beginning-of-the-year retreats. The retreats will be held at Camp Carl and include opportunities to connect with God, play games, and build relationships with teachers and classmates. Any student in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade can apply. Please check your email this week for the application link.

How you can help:

  • Sign Up for a slot  HERE (one slot = visiting 5-10 local businesses)
  • Grab a Packet: Pick up a donation packet at the Front Office or have your student bring one home.
  • Visit Local Favorites: We’re asking volunteers to commit to visiting 5-10 local businesses in their neck of the woods to solicit auction items. Examples include your favorite neighborhood coffee shop, boutique, gym, or restaurant.
  • The Buddy System: Everything is more fun with a friend! Feel free to sign up as a duo or a small group to tackle your list together.

Items for auction are due by March 1, 2026. We are so grateful for your help in bringing this event to life. Let’s work together to make this year’s auction our best one yet!

Royal Evening – April 18, 2026

The annual Royal Evening is a highlight of the year for CVCA families, students, and alumni. A celebration of God’s faithfulness to His school, the Royal Evening is our largest annual fundraiser, traditionally raising over $300,000 per year for student tuition assistance. The next Royal Evening will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This is an evening of great fun, food, fellowship, and a joyous celebration of what God is doing at His school.

Participating in the Royal Evening is the perfect opportunity to use your talents to benefit CVCA, a great chance to meet other CVCA families, and definitely a lot of fun! Our goal is to have EVERY family involved in this year’s event in some way. This culture of generosity has always been at the heart of CVCA – families joining together to support the incredible work being done here. In addition to attending the event, there are numerous ways to get involved, including PRAYING for this upcoming celebration, as it benefits so many CVCA students!
