Traffic and Construction FAQs

NEW ROAD NOTICE: Starting Monday, April 27, a construction crew will be working on the railroad crossing on Seasons Road for six days. The detour for this closure will be through Stow, via Hudson Drive and Allen Road.

Our goal is to share info as soon as we have it. Construction can be unpredictable, so while we’ll communicate all we can, there may be some unplanned activity from time to time.

We’re working closely with the City of Cuyahoga Falls and the project contractors to stay synced on timelines. These partnerships help us keep you informed and minimize disruptions to our school day.

The trees on the land to CVCA’s north were cut down in preparation for future residential housing. To date, the landowner and the construction company are preparing initial proposals for submission to the City of Cuyahoga Falls for approval. More details forthcoming as they are made available.

Yes. The Wyoga Lake Road construction project was recently awarded to a general contractor. The overall project extends from Steels Corner to Seasons Road. Construction is currently expected to start in June. Once the construction plan is published, more information will be available.

Information will be sent via email and in the Royal Weekly every Monday. Expect to hear from us regarding this topic in the coming weeks and months as we navigate this together.

If you are just dropping off and do not need to park during the school day, you can simply stop in the front circle outside the main entrance. We hope to keep the front entrance area free of student parking to ensure ample visitor parking.

Yes, we are hoping to keep several visitor spaces open during the school day.

Yes! As part of the campus-wide improvement/transformation, Athletic Field #2 (behind Royals Fieldhouse) will be converted into a large parking lot with 230 plus spaces.

  • The construction will take place at the back of the school, outside of our highly trafficked areas.
  • This new lot is designed to offset the loss of parking spaces during the building project and to permanently improve parking and traffic flow for the expanded student body.
  • The current construction timeline is scheduled to begin this month and to last for about two weeks.
  • More information will be provided as construction plans are finalized.
