A Culture of Generosity
What does a “Culture of Generosity” mean? Generosity has been a vital part of our culture at CVCA since our founding over 55 years ago. CVCA’s existence is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and our story is marked by triumph, hardship, and unwavering dedication to a shared vision, along with persistent faith. With each new school year, we embark on a new chapter filled with new students, new families, new challenges, and new opportunities. We prayerfully ask God to use us and our gifts to make an impact for His kingdom. Our hope and prayer is that God will continue to show us ways to be generous with our time, talents, and treasures for His glory.
Over the years, the percentage of current families giving to CVCA has steadily increased, with 25% currently serving as donors. We pray that this percentage will continue to grow as current parents take an active role in this Culture of Generosity.
Our Prayer: Father God, guide us to be faithful stewards of the resources You have entrusted to us. We recognize that all we have been blessed with ultimately belongs to You. Let our generosity reflect Your own, demonstrating Your boundless love and grace to the world. Help us embody true generosity in a culture that often lacks it, as we follow Christ. Teach us to give selflessly and sacrificially, and may our community continue to be a living example of generosity and joy, inspiring others through our actions and reflecting Your endless grace.
How to Get Involved
Volunteers are a vital part of the CVCA community. There are some great ways you can get involved while getting to know faculty, staff, and other parents. We have opportunities for both men and women in many different areas and varying time commitments. To be added to our volunteer list, simply complete this Volunteer Form today, then watch this section of the Royal Weekly for exciting volunteer opportunities!
