SCHOOL-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS

October giving support the ANNUAL FUND

Thank you to every family who joined in October Giving. Your generosity is a powerful testament to CVCA’s culture of generosity and a commitment to our mission. You went above and beyond, and the result was nothing short of inspiring. Because of your gifts, we not only met, but exceeded the $100,000 Matching Gift Challenge!

Your October Giving gift supports the Annual Fund, which is a critical piece of CVCA’s funding:

  • The Annual Fund: Bridges the gap between tuition and actual operating costs. It covers financial assistance, key programs, technology, and academic innovations.
  • Tuition: Primarily funds salaries and benefits for our faculty and staff, with the remainder supporting daily operations.
  • Capital Campaigns: These are separate, targeted campaigns for large-scale building projects, which are not funded by tuition or the Annual Fund. We are looking forward to sharing more about Capital Campaigns soon.

If you feel led to join October Giving, you can still contribute through the button below. If you have any questions about giving, please contact Jennifer Meybaum at jmeybaum@cvcaroyals.org.

Do you know the difference between Canvas and Family Portal? Both are easily accessed through the MY CVCA page and serve as valuable tools for CVCA families.

  • Canvas (LMS – Learning Management System) is the hub for academics. Students use it to submit assignments, track due dates, and engage with course materials.
  • Family Portal (FACTS) is designed for school-related business. Parents use it for payments such as field trips and activities. It also provides access to student transcripts, progress reports, and report cards – the only academic crossover with Canvas.
