School of Engineering Capstone Fair – May 8

The School of Engineering (SOE) students will showcase their capstone projects at the SOE Capstone Fair on Thursday, May 8 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the senior hallway. We would love to have our students’ friends and family members join us! This is a great way to see how our SOE students have put their knowledge into practice.

Exam Schedule

It’s hard to believe that we have almost reached the end of the school year. A few more classes and exams and then we’re done! As you plan for the last few days of school, please review this Exam Schedule for guidelines and test times.

End-of-Year Health Clinic Notes

STORED MEDICATIONS: Medication stored in the Health Clinic must be picked up prior to the end of the school year. Medications cannot be stored over the summer and will be disposed of, so please plan to retrieve them. The last day for seniors to pick up medications is Friday, May 9. All other students must pick up theirs by Thursday, May 22.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: Please keep in mind that incoming 7th graders require a Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine, and incoming 12th graders need a second dose of MCV4 prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year. If needed, exemptions can be found in the Parent Resources/Health Clinic section of the the MY CVCA page. Exemptions must be renewed yearly. Please email the paperwork to healthclinic@cvcaroyals.org over the summer or bring a physical copy during the first week of the new school year.

2025-2026 Host Families Needed for international students

CVCA will host international students for the 2025-2026 school year. We will host four junior students from our sister schools in Brazil and Norway.  Some students will be here for the full year, and some for only the fall semester. If you are interested in hosting a student or would like to learn more, please contact Brenda Worth at bworth@cvcaroyals.org.

CLUB UPDATES

Middle School Show Choir Open House and Auditions – May 21

The Middle School Show Choir will hold a Camp Open House on Wednesday, May 21 from noon to 3:00. All students who will be in grades 6, 7, or 8 in the 2025-2026 school year are welcome to come see what Show Choir is all about and to audition. ATHLETICS UPDATES

Middle School Girls Soccer Meeting – May 8

All 6th and 7th-grade girls interested in playing soccer in the fall are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, May 8 from 3:00 to 3:15 p.m. in Room 186 (Mrs. Hoffman’s classroom). For more information, please contact Mr. Baxter at rbaxter@cvcaroyals.org.

Boys Golf Informational Meeting – May 13

All 8th to 11th-grade boys interested in playing high school golf are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, May 13 during lunches A and B in Room 104.

High School Girls Soccer Informational Meeting – May 14

A mandatory meeting for all 8th-11th-grade girls wanting to play high school soccer will be held Wednesday, May 14 at 3:00 p.m. in the 8th grade hallway. Questions? Contact Coach Iannetta at siannetta@cvcaroyals.org.

Sports Physicals – May 28

In conjunction with Summa Health, Sports Physicals will be held at CVCA on May 28 at 6:00 p.m. These physicals will be valid for the entire 2025-2026 school year. Bring a copy of your completed PPE form from your FinalForms account. The cost is $25. Register HERE. Medical clearance via a current Sports Physical must be on file with the CVCA Athletic Office to participate in a sport.
