Final Exams Schedule

Final Exams will be held Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, May 24-26. Students will receive instructions from their teachers where to report for exams. A printable exam schedule is available HERE.

  • Please make arrangements for your student(s) to leave after exams. Supervision will be available for middle school students who need to stay until 11:45 a.m.
  • The Cafeteria will not be open these days. Students are encouraged to bring snacks to eat during the break between exam periods.
  • Student Appearance Standards apply.

Congrats to Academic Challenge Teams

Congratulations to the Academic Challenge students who competed in Saturday’s Junior National Academic Competition! Our two teams went a combined 12-0 in the prelims and will compete in the finals on June 10th. Students involved: captains Ben Choi and Caroline Dressel and players Nathan Cook, Jack Baarson, Juliette Govia, Cain Robinson, David Wedding, Shane Cook, Avery Tausch, and Jake Lee.

Show Choir Band Musicians Needed

Before the pandemic, CVCA’s Royal Vision Show Choir consisted of singers, dancers, and a live band. However, quarantine shut down the band part of Show Choir. We are excited to announce we are now bringing back the band! We need: two guitar players (acoustic and electric), a bass player, and a drummer. If you are interested, we would love to have you! Earn Service Hours through UH Portage Medical Center

UH Portage Medical Center’s Junior Auxiliary offers opportunities for students to plan and implement fun fundraising projects during the summer that support the hospital’s Food For Life program. Students participate in as many activities as their schedule allows between June and August. They will earn documented service hours, help raise funds for a good cause, and meet students from other high schools. To learn more, students should contact the UH Volunteer Services at 330-297-2591.

High School Boys Soccer Meeting – May 24

Any high school boys who are planning to play soccer in the fall must attend this meeting on Wednesday, May 24 immediately following exams. We will meet in Mrs. Brown’s Room in the middle school hallway. Contact Coach Nick with any questions.

2023-2024 Sports Registration Now Open

Sports Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is now open in FinalForms. Visit cvca-oh.finalforms.com to register today. Create a new account if you have not used FinalForms with CVCA before. After logging in, visit the “My Students” section and select the option to switch to 2023-2024 registration. Then select the sport(s) you wish to register your student for. Early registration helps make sure you are on the contact list for summer activities. Be sure to check the status of your sports physical and turn in an updated copy if needed.
