SCHOOL-WIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Exam Schedule
It’s hard to believe that we have almost reached the end of the school year. A few more classes and exams and then we’re done! As you plan for the last few days of school, please review this Exam Schedule for guidelines and test times.
End-of-Year Health Clinic Notes
STORED MEDICATIONS: Medication stored in the Health Clinic must be picked up prior to the end of the school year. Medications cannot be stored over the summer and will be disposed of, so please plan to retrieve them. All students must pick up theirs by Thursday, May 22.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: Please keep in mind that incoming 7th graders require a Tdap and Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine, and incoming 12th graders need a second dose of MCV4 prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year. If needed, exemptions can be found in the Parent Resources/Health Clinic section of the MY CVCA page. Exemptions must be renewed yearly. Please email the paperwork to healthclinic@cvcaroyals.org over the summer or bring a physical copy during the first week of the new school year.
2025-2026 Host Families Needed for international students
CVCA will host international students for the 2025-2026 school year. We will host four junior students from our sister schools in Brazil and Norway. Some students will be here for the full year, and some for only the fall semester. A small monthly stipend is provided for each host family. If you are interested in hosting a student or would like to learn more, please contact Brenda Worth at bworth@cvcaroyals.org.
Uniform Consignment Sale – June 18
The annual Summer Uniform Consignment Sale will be held in the Rasnick Center on Wednesday, June 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Polos will be $5.00 each. Quarter-zips, sweatshirts, and hoodies will all be $10 each. Please drop off items to sell/consign on Tuesday, June 17, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. Only polos, quarter-zips, sweatshirts, and hoodies will be accepted for the sale. NO PANTS will be accepted. T-shirts will be accepted for the “free table” only. Please contact MaryAnn McMullen at mmcmullen@cvcaroyals.org if you would like to volunteer.
SUMMER SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
As the school year closes, we are excited to share that CVCA students served more than 44,500 hours with volunteer organizations during the 2024-2025 school year.
Summer is a great time for students to get ahead on next year’s 16-hour volunteer requirement. It is a great time to enojy plugging in at local churches, other non-profit organizations, and community events!
Summer Notes
For your convenience, all summer assignments, 2025-2026 school supply lists, and 2025-2026 Appearance Standards are available on the MY CVCA page. As we approach the next school year, additional information will be added.
