Spring Family Preview Day – April 13

New High School Girls Group – March 22

SISTERHOOD is a new group for high school girls who are different in many ways, but who value authentic relationships with other girls. Join us as we create a space to share our lives, ask questions, encourage each other in our relationship with Christ, and be an encouragement to each other.

School-wide Service Project – March 23

We are excited to announce a school-wide service project culminating on March 23. Each group below is asked to bring items for “Hope Tote” bags to school on Thursday, March 23. We will then assemble the bags for the Haven of Rest Ministry to distribute at their Easter meals.

Parents, please encourage your students to participate generously and use some of their own money, if possible. This is a simple  yet effective way for students to gain hands-on experience in sharing the hope and love we find in Jesus. Parents are also welcome to join the fun by donating items!

  • 6th Grade:  Toothbrush and Toothpaste – at least one of each
  • 7th Grade:   Deodorant – plain scent
  • 8th Grade:   Body Lotion – Plain scent
  • Douglass House:   Shaving cream & Razor – at least 1 of each
  • Tozer House:   Shampoo & Comb – plain scent, at least 1 of each
  • Lewis House:   Conditioner & Hair Brush – plain scent, at least one of each
  • Elliot House:   Bar Soap & Lip Balm – plain scent, at least one if each

Breakfast Together: A Time for Fathers and Sons to Connect – April 12

We are excited to invite our CVCA fathers and sons (all grades) to share a special time of connection and breakfast together. Don’t want to miss out! The event will be held in the Rasnick Center on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:45 a.m. and cost $5 per person. REGISTER HERE

Grandparents Day – April 14

CVCA Grandparents Day is Friday, April 14, 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. Grandparents will get an inside peek at their grandchild’s life as a student at CVCA by starting the morning with muffins and coffee with their grandchild(ren) and then briefly visiting classrooms and teachers. Students should plan to arrive with their grandparents at the Fieldhouse that morning. Grandparents will receive an invite in the mail soon with a RSVP form.

SPRING MUSICAL TICKETS FOR SALE

Tickets for The Royal Theatre’s Spring Musical, The Little Mermaid, are now for sale at iTickets.com.

  • April 21, 22, 28 – 7:00 p.m.
  • April 26 – General Admission – 6:30 p.m.
  • April 29 – 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 26 is Junior Royals Night with general admission. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or with check or cash at the door. Junior Royals receive one free admission ticket. Family members pay standard admission. Register your Junior Royal for the event HERE.

CVCA Summer Camps

CVCA offers summer camps and music lessons for children ages 7-16. Led by CVCA coaches and athletes and Royal Theatre directors and student-actors, campers enjoy learning new skills and making new friends in a Christ-centered environment. REGISTER HERE.

Middle School Class Shirt Day – March 23

As part of this week’s March Madness competition, middle school students are invited to wear their class t-shirts on Thursday, March 23 to earn points for their class.

ATHLETICS

Cheer Meeting – March 24

The Cheer coaches will be in the Welcome Center area on Friday, March 24 during lunch to meet girls and pass out Cheer information for 2023-2024.

Sports Physicals at CVCA – May 18

Summa Health will offer sports physicals at CVCA on Thursday, May 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. These physicals will be valid for the entire 2023-2024 school year. Mark you calendars and look for more information in the weeks to come.
