Student Appearance Standards Reminders

As students prepare for the second semester, we want to remind you of a few items regarding the CVCA dress code:

  • PANTS are to be uniform-style khaki or black ONLY – NO gray or faded black, no leggings or jeggings, no sweatpants, and no corduroys.
  • OUTERWEAR is NOT to be worn during the school day. Please make arrangements for SAS-approved school wear for warmth.
  • HATS/HOODS are not to be worn during the school day, which includes time in the hallways.
  • SHOES need to have a closed heel/toe – NO Crocs, clogs, slippers/slides, etc.

This is not an all-inclusive list. We encourage you to revisit the Student Appearance Standards in the Student-Parent Handbook for more comprehensive information on the CVCA dress code and the consequences for violations.

Parents, we could use your help to remind your students of these standards as they prepare for school each day.
