Ministry Overview:
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster in them a servant’s heart, including extra-curricular activities, inter-scholastic athletics, music, theater, short-term mission trips, and numerous service opportunities. Job Summary:
The purpose of the Registrar position for the Academic Office is to entrust one CVCA staff member with the management, organization, and upkeep of CVCA student data, particularly related to student transfer and internal academic documents (transcripts, etc.), academic information necessary to renew Jon Peterson and EdChoice scholarships, standardized testing data, and any CCP coursework information. The position also provides standardized testing support for ordering tests, securing test materials, and communicating student test results to students and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates and populates new academic counseling files for incoming sixth through twelfth-grade students.
- Prepares and sends transcripts, among other relevant student records, to schools receiving students withdrawing from CVCA
- Provides alumni of CVCA with transcript materials, as requested, after verification of legitimate requests
- Assists the Director of College Counseling (during October) with the creation of PDFs of senior transcripts and uploading these records to Naviance for each senior at CVCA.
- Assists the Director of College Counseling (during October) with the creation of PDFs of senior class schedules and uploading these records to Naviance for each senior at CVCA.
- Assists the Director of College Counseling (during October) by inputting senior GPAs and ACT/SAT scores into Naviance.
- Assists the Director of Guidance with Malone University registration and application materials related to CCP courses (February to April)
- Captures and provides student testing data relevant to EdChoice scholarship renewals each spring
- Collaborates with the Director of OASIS to facilitate Jon Peterson scholarship renewals each spring
- Manages work permit-related paperwork and questions submitted by CVCA students
- Distributes and communicates testing results for ACT to student testers and their families (May), including helpful resources for using score reports to improve future testing results
- Facilitates easy access to relevant student data for all CVCA administrators, and prepares helpful reports built from student data (upon request), such as the October Academic Ends Report to the CVCA Governing Board
- Prepares Reports for teachers relevant to MAP Growth testing, as well as ACT results
- Facilitates standardized testing processes for CVCA (ordering materials and registering students for PSAT, ACT, IOWA testing, and MAP Growth, communicating with test proctors, etc.)

Education and Experience:
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Some experience with data management and reporting preferred
