MAY 2026
Congratulations, Grandparents of Graduating Seniors!
Congratulations to all members of the Grandparents Club who will soon have a CVCA graduate! We look forward to celebrating this joyous occasion with you and your family at the Class of 2026 Commencement on Sunday, May 24, at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall. It will be a meaningful event filled with worship, lifting your hearts in thanksgiving to the Lord!

A Successful Royal Evening
The 2026 Royal Evening was a wonderful event attended by over 400 guests and supported by 100 volunteers. It was a night of celebration and giving, honoring the Lord’s faithfulness to CVCA. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the grandparents who attended, donated, or participated online on April 18. Your generosity helped us raise over $400,000 for student tuition assistance!
The Royal Theatre’s 2026 Spring Musical
This year’s Spring Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, was a resounding success. The talented students of the Royal Theatre delivered high-energy performances, showcasing their skills as actors, as well as in set design, lighting, sound, makeup, and in the pit orchestra. The upbeat and immensely entertaining story of Joseph and his coat of many colors resonated with attendees of all ages. This production has undoubtedly become a favorite for many and will be remembered fondly.

A sponsorship donation of just $500 is a meaningful way to support CVCA students, as your contribution directly funds tuition assistance.
Join us as a Hole Sponsor for the CVCA Golf Outing on June 1
We would be thrilled to display your company logo or family name on a hole of the beautiful greens at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton during our annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 1. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiastic support for Christian education at CVCA. To get a closer look at this prestigious Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, click HERE.
To show your support as a Hole Sponsor, please register HERE by May 16, or contact Jennifer Meybaum at jmeybaum@cvcaroyals.org or (330) 929-0575, ext. 325. The Development Office will reach out to discuss your signage specifics and will send you a photo of your sign on the course.
A Lasting Impact
You can leave a lasting legacy in Christian education at a time when the world desperately needs the Gospel. Please consider supporting Christian education at CVCA in 2026 through Planned Giving or a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
With a QCD, once you reach the age of 70, you can directly transfer funds from your IRA to CVCA to meet your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) without increasing your taxable income. This is a win-win-win for you, CVCA, and the future of Kingdom work in the world.
If you have specific questions, John Harabedian would be happy to speak with you at jharabedian@cvcaroyals.org.
End-of-Year Updates & Summer News
As we wrap up another school year at CVCA, we invite you to join us in prayer for our students. Please pray for their safety, focus, and spiritual growth as they complete their final activities and exams.
Summer Pause
The Grandparents Club newsletter will take a break over the summer. We hope you enjoy the warm weather and make wonderful memories! For any questions during the break, contact Jennifer Meybaum at jmeybaum@cvcaroyals.org..

Looking Ahead
To get a peek at next school year’s activities and events, take a look HERE at the 2026-2027 CVCA school calendar (subject to change, so revisit as needed). Also, check out cvcaroyals.org, where you’ll find access to all the information you might like to know about your grandchild’s school.
Pause in Praise
Please join me in a moment of praise as I share a song I recently discovered: “Make it Well” by MercyMe. It connects to the historic hymn “It is Well With My Soul” by Horatio Spafford, transforming its message into a prayer of dependency on Jesus. In both praise and need, let us trust the Lord to care for our souls.
I pray this summer brings teachable moments with your grandchildren, allowing you to share your faith and the hope of salvation in Christ. This is the true legacy you can leave for them.
Thank you for supporting CVCA’s mission as we educate and cultivate your grandchildren to be servants for Christ in a world that needs them.
– Jennifer Meybaum, Development Outreach Coordinator
