Scott Iannetta, MS Principal: siannetta@cvcaroyals.org

Sarah Telepak, MS Assistant Principal: stelepak@cvcaroyals.org

  • Fall Break is October 9-13.
  • Check Canvas and Planners daily.
    • When looking at your student’s Canvas gradebook, you will notice that late assignments are labeled with a BLUE LATE.
    • If the assignment is marked with a RED MISSING indication, this means the teacher has NOT received it, whether on Canvas or on paper.
    • Teachers try to make sure that every assignment is accurately labeled by the end of the day.
  • Way to show school spirit during Spirit Week! Continue to give your best efforts in your classes!
  • Thank you to all the parents and students who attended Ignition Rewind, and to our speakers.

SCIENCE

Mrs. Karen Shelford: kshelford@cvcaroyals.org

Mrs. Tammy Smith: tsmith@cvcaroyals.org

  • Students began the year considering the nature of science. Every student researched the life of a scientist and created a poster. Each class is working on its own experiment, applying the steps of the scientific method.
  • Students are now in the middle of an extended unit on matter. This is the foundation for their ensuing years as scientists at CVCA and beyond.
  • Students are also working on their measurement skills and learning to use the density=mass/volume equation.
