Applying For Admission
Thank you for your interest in an education at CVCA. We love what we do and who we represent, and are excited to share that experience with you. Below you will find the information needed for the application process.
Application Process
After your application has been reviewed, we may ask for more information before a family interview is scheduled. Application decisions are sent in writing within two weeks of the interview.

Placement tests are administered most Mondays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. starting October 1, 2017. Register >>

Financial Assistance

Forms
Complete the Administrator’s, Academic, and Spiritual Leader’s Recommendations, and Transcript Request Forms. Electronic copies of these forms are automatically emailed to the recipients you indicate in your online application.

Placement Test Registration
Placement tests are administered most Mondays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. starting October 1, 2017. Tests are also given at many Christian schools to students in their top grade. Some students may also be exempt from placement testing based on strong performance on nationally standardized achievement tests. Check with CVCA’s Admissions Office for guidelines: Director of Admissions, Mindy Fullerton, or call 330-929-0575, ext. 216.
FAQs
Placement tests are administered most Mondays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. starting October 1, 2017. Students must pre-register for the test. Tests will also be given at these Christian schools to students in their top grade: Chapel Hill Christian School (North and Green campuses), Cornerstone Community School, Parma Heights Christian Academy, Valley Christian Academy, and at the Urban Vision Ministry building. Please check with your school administrator for the test date for your school.
Some students are exempt from placement testing. If your student meets the following criteria, an entrance exam is NOT required for admission:
- Nationally standardized test scores in the 70th percentile or above in Reading, Math, and Total Score. The test must have been taken within the last 12 months. Acceptable tests include: Terra Nova, Stanford Achievement Test, IOWA, CAT5, or ERB
- Report cards with predominant As and Bs and no Ds and Fs
- No negative comments on report cards regarding academic diligence
