Ministry Overview:
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. Job Summary:
This position serves as a representative of the Office of Admissions. The admissions aspects of this role directly impact the admissions process at CVCA and support efforts to attract families and assist them through the admissions process. This includes all aspects of the admissions process, including application processing, interviews, tours, testing, and shadow days. The role works as a key player in maintaining the summer camp program. This position works closely with Admissions, Marketing and Communications, and Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the CVCA Summer Camps program that targets prospective families, Junior Royals, and the surrounding communities.
- Coordinate Admissions events (including Junior Royals), working closely with the Admissions and Marketing/Communication teams, and other team members (facilities and faculty).
- Actively support the shadow program by handling administrative tasks and being present for visiting students and parents (2 days/week).
- Give all tours and resources to families as they make decisions regarding their student’s education. Become a CVCA expert knowledgeable of all programs and the admissions process.
- Coordinate testing for applicants by setting up students in MAP, administering testing, sending out test scores, and maintaining a database of test scores.
- Maintain supplies for all Admissions swag and hosting needs for events, test sessions, and interviews.
- Maintain a database of applications by following up on outstanding referrals, contacting families as needed, and scanning and uploading information.
- Update and maintain contact lists from the Admissions database for marketing communication.
- Respond to all Admissions inquiries by phone and email within 24 hours, answer questions, and set up the next Admissions steps.
- Schedule all Admissions interviews.
