At CVCA, our Royal Volunteers are the backbone of many of our most significant efforts. Your dedication is vital to maintaining our standards of excellence and our unwavering commitment to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are incredibly grateful for the spirit and service you bring to our campus.
Beyond the immense impact you make, volunteering at CVCA is a lot of fun! It builds a lasting connection to our community, fosters great friendships, and enables others to use their skills and talents for the Lord.
In this newsletter, we’ll highlight current CVCA volunteer opportunities. We hope you will take a moment to explore how you can get involved!
IT’S THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR!
The Royal Evening is a highlight of the year for the CVCA community. It celebrates God’s faithfulness to His school and serves as our largest annual fundraiser, traditionally raising over $300,000 each year for student tuition assistance! Participating in the Royal Evening is a fantastic opportunity to use your talents to benefit CVCA, and it’s a lot of fun! Our goal is to have EVERY family involved in this year’s event in some capacity.
One of the easiest way to volunteer is by contributing to Class Baskets. Traditionally, each CVCA class creates a basket for the silent auction. They are always fun themes with lots of options to contribute. Click the button on the left to learn more!
There are numerous other volunteer opportunities available too, including:
- administrative tasks
- event setup
- securing silent auction items
- managing student volunteers
- assisting guests the night of the event
- and much more!

STARRY NIGHT – April 11, 2026
Sponsored by CVCA Athletics, Starry Night is a national prom-style celebration designed specifically for individuals with special needs. For one unforgettable evening, our Royal guests will walk the red carpet, hear their names cheered, enjoy dinner, dancing, karaoke, and will be crowned in celebration.
This night exists for one purpose: to remind every guest that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. Starry Night is made possible by an incredible community of volunteers and sponsors who believe every person deserves to be celebrated.
Whether you decide to be a High Five Volunteer or a Buddy Volunteer, taking part in this event is sure to bring lots of joy to everyone! We can’t wait to see you there and share in the fun together!
JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM – May 8, 2026
Junior-Senior Prom is a special night for our upperclassmen. You can be part of the event and help make it memorable by volunteering to set up and decorate the venue at Quaker Square Station in Akron.
There are morning and afternoon time slots available on May 8.
