Join Shya Designs in Supporting Rwandan Women
In this spirit of Thanksgiving and the month of November, Shya Designs is designed to give back to the women in Rwanda. We want to ensure that these women are able to continue to support their families and continue to do what they love. We would like to bless them by providing various sewing resources for them. As a result, for the entire month of November, Shya Designs is openly accepting donations of zippers, closures, cutting tools, thread, and other sewing supplies. Questions? Please contact Paulina Zhu or James Swiger at pzhu26@cvcaroyals.org or jswi26@cvcaroyals.org.

WEBSITE HIGHLIGHTS
Canvas or Family Portal?
Do you know the difference between Canvas and Family Portal? Both are easily accessed through the MY CVCA page and serve as valuable tools for CVCA families.
- Canvas (LMS – Learning Management System) is the hub for academics. Students use it to submit assignments, track due dates, and engage with course materials.
- Family Portal (FACTS) is designed for school-related business. Parents use it for payments such as field trips and activities. It also provides access to student transcripts, progress reports, and report cards – the only academic crossover with Canvas.
