Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing technical assistance on computer systems and serves as the first point of contact for staff, faculty and students who need technical assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set-up, inventory, and disperse Chromebooks, computers, and technology
- Maintain Chromebooks, including, but not limited to:
- Resolving issues with user accounts and functionality with Chromebooks
- Identifying and resolving physical issues either by part replacements, utilizing warranty services, or notifying other technology staff about an issue that needs to be resolved if assistance is needed
- Maintain Windows computers, including, but not limited to:
- Resolving issues with user accounts and functionality with Windows computers
- Identifying and resolving physical issues either by part replacements, utilizing warranty services, or notifying other technology staff about an issue that needs to be resolved if assistance is needed
- Act as the first point of contact for user support
- Organize, manage, and facilitate content filtering for student Chromebooks
- Work with the administration to cultivate better device usage
- Restrict access to non-academic content
- Provide day-to-day technical support to all users
- Implement the delivery of PC hardware, peripherals, and computers
- Identify problems and provide information in a variety of methods to help users troubleshoot problems
- Assist users via individual appointments or develop and make available “cheat sheets”
- Support the use of G Suite and MS Office programs
- Provide backup coverage for other members of the Tech Office as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Relevant technical training or an Associate Degree
- A+ (Desired)
- 1-3 years related experience (Desired)
- Network troubleshooting (wiring, switches, ports) (Desired)
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment
- Extended work hours may be required on occasion
- Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble small objects
- Use one or two hands to grasp, move or assemble objects
- Bend, stretch, twist or reach out
