Jterm

With numerous offerings to choose from, this one-week program of in-depth study takes place in January after Christmas Break. Jterm promotes learning and discovery beyond the traditional courses. Our mission is to increase opportunities of learning and exploration that not only challenge students in areas of their interest but encourage deeper faculty-student relationships through enrichment electives, educational travel, service, mission trips, and Career Experience Opportunities.

Middle School Jterm Retreats

The grade-specific middle school Jterm program is designed to cultivate spiritual, educational, and personal growth in each student.

Sixth-grade students participate in a unified experience, allowing our youngest students to have a unique and developmentally appropriate time of experiential learning and class bonding.

Seventh and eighth-graders select from regional trip opportunities as well as a menu of experiential alternative educational experiences that are equal parts fun and educational.

High School Jterm

High school students may choose to stay on/near campus to explore areas of interest through courses taught by faculty members or guest teachers. Students also have opportunities to take a teacher-led trip across the U.S. or even to a different country! Local options range from creative, to academic, to athletic with courses such as jewelry making, ice skating, cooking, song writing, mock trials, driving education, and much more.

CEO Experiential Learning

A Career Experience Opportunity (CEO) allows students to learn about a profession by shadowing a host in the local community. Students can dive into the working world while considering future educational and vocational choices.
