Sophomore Schools of Distinction Lunch – November 11

This week, sophomores have the opportunity to apply for a School of Distinction (SOD) for their junior and senior years. CVCA offers five Schools of Distinction: Arts & Humanities, Business & Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Medical Professions, and Ministry. While joining a SOD is completely optional, we believe it has wonderful benefits! SOD students learn from career-oriented classes, internships, curated college visits, real-world challenges, shadowing, and more. Learn about each of the Schools of Distinction HERE.

All sophomores are invited to a special lunch on Friday, November 11 in the Learning Commons during both 5A and 5B. A short presentation will provide more SOD details, then students will have an opportunity to meet each SOD Head to ask questions. Pizza will be provided.

SOD applications will go LIVE on Friday, November 11. After applying, all students will go through an interview process before being admitted to a SOD.
