#(thanks)GivingTuesday is NOW through November 30!

Don’t let the Thanksgiving holiday go by without taking time to offer thanks to a teacher, coach, or staff member as part of CVCA’s biggest giving day, #(thanks)GivingTuesday! We are shooting for 100% participation from our families to meet a $100,000 matching gift. Your gift of any amount will be doubled when you give at cvcaroyals.org/giving and write a note of appreciation on the comment/tribute line on the giving webpage. Your appreciation will be passed on to that person and your gift will directly impact student financial assistance, allowing more students to attend CVCA. Don’t miss this opportunity to give thanks for CVCA teachers and have your gift doubled NOW through November 30 at cvcaroyals.org/giving.

Urban Vision Christmas Store – NOW through November 23

CVCA has a long-standing tradition of support for Urban Vision, a local ministry founded by alumni Jody and Rodney Mathews. The Urban Vision Christmas Store provides items that Akron-area kids can purchase for their family members with Urban Vision bucks (“money” earned throughout the year by attending after school programs and Bible studies). The store is filled with both practical and fun donated Christmas gift items.

CVCA has traditionally been one of the largest single supporters of the Christmas Store, donating over 800 items each December. Urban Vision has provided a wish list of items (all under $12.00 each) that we have assigned to each grade. All items can be put into provided boxes at the Welcome Center area through Tuesday, November 23.

Virtual Christian College Fair – Through November 19

Over 50 Christian colleges and universities will have a booth at the Fall Virtual Christian College Fair. Whether you have a senior making their final decisions for next year, junior choosing where to visit and apply, or underclassmen exploring their options, this fair can be a great help. Register at VirtualChristianCollegeFairs.com.

Virtual booths will be available all day, every day, through Friday, November 19. Explore the booths at your leisure and watch the on-demand college-prep webinars. Families can also attend a live event on Thursday, November 18, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. to chat face-to-face with college reps and view college presentations.
