Girls Cross Country Meeting – Today

Upcoming Parent Connections Opportunities
Celebrate the end of the school year with other CVCA parents! If your student has a half-day and you need a place to wait, join us for coffee at the Nervous Dog Coffee Bar, 4161 Steels Pointe (near CVCA, in the plaza near Rt. 8). Stay as long as you are able after morning drop-off, starting around 7:45 am.
- 6th Grade: Thursday, May 26
- 7th and 8th Grade: Wednesday, May 25
- 9th–11th Grade: Friday, May 27

FACTS Contract Reminder
Your FACTS contract will activate towards the end of May 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are planning to withdraw a student, be sure to submit the signed withdrawal form to Mindy Fullerton at mfullerton@cvcaroyals.org as soon as possible, before your FACTS contract is activated. If you have questions about your enrollment agreement, you can access the Continuous Enrollment Agreement HERE.
IEP Scholarship Opportunity
CVCA will be offering the Jon Peterson Scholarship for the 2022-23 school year. If you have a student with a current Individualized Education Plan, they may qualify for this scholarship. We are excited about the opportunity to offer additional support to students as we Educate and Cultivate Servants for Christ within a rigorous college preparatory environment. If your student has an existing IEP and your family is interested in pursuing this scholarship opportunity, please contact Mrs. Laura Chadima at lchadima@cvcaroyals.org for additional information about the specific program at CVCA, along with the details of how to apply.
Exam Schedule
The full year-end exam schedule for all grades is available HERE.
- Students in grades 9-11 will have exams on Wednesday-Friday, May 25-27.
- Students in grade 8 will have exams on Wednesday and Thursday, May 25-26.
- Students in grades 6-7 will not have exams and will have an adjusted schedule.
GRADUATION LIVESTREAM
For your convenience, the 2022 CVCA Commencement ceremony will be available to watch via livestream through the MY CVCA page. Join us to celebrate our Class of 2022 on Sunday, May 29. Pre-ceremony streaming will begin at 3:40 p.m. and the Commencement ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Join Concert Choir and Chamber Singers for 2022-2023
Concert Choir and Chamber Singers are looking for more singers for the 2022-2023 school year. Next year, the choirs will learn to play the Ukulele and will head to New York City for a Choir Tour. For more information, see Mrs. Moore or contact her at jmoore@cvcaroyals.org.
the robotics team is looking forward to the next school year
The CVCA Royal Technic Robotics team will have an early start in the Fall, so please put these important dates on your calendar. The introduction meeting will be held on August 16 at 3:00 p.m. in Engineering Room 122. Training will take place on August 20, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The kick-off at Grove City College will be on August 27. Buses will depart CVCA at 7:30 a.m. If you are interested in robotics yet have never participated, feel free to email head coach Megan Oyster at moyster@cvcaroyals.org.
Consider being a host family for an international Student
CVCA’s International Student Program (ISP) is looking for great Christian host families for the 2022-2023 school year. Seven new international students (3 girls, 3 boys from Norway and 1 boy from the Dominican Republic) will be joining us for the school year, arriving the week of August 8. 2022-2023 Sports Registration
Sports Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open in FinalForms. Visit cvca-oh.finalforms.com to register today. If you have not used FinalForms with CVCA before, you will need to create a new account. After logging in, visit the “My Students” section and select the option to switch to 2022-2023 registration. Then select the sport(s) you wish to register your student for. Early registration helps make sure you are on the contact list for summer activities. Be sure to check the status of your sports physical and turn in an updated copy if needed. If you have any questions, please contact Ben Miller at bmiller@cvcaroyals.org.
Sports Physicals at CVCA – June 1
Through our partnership with Summa Sports Medicine, we are pleased to offer sports physicals at CVCA this year. We will be offering exams on Wednesday, June 1, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Physicals will cost $20 (CASH only) and will be collected at check-in. You will need to bring a copy of your OHSAA PPE Physical form found in your FinalForms account. Be sure to switch over and register for your 2022-23 sports if you have not done so already. 2021-2022 Summer Assignments and School Supply Lists
As we near the end of the school year, we know you are ready for break! But when the time comes to start thinking about the 2022-2023 school year, remember that most of the information you’ll need to prepare will be available in the Parent and Student Resources sections of the MY CVCA page, including Summer Assignments, Student Appearance Standards, and School Supply Lists.
RenWeb Home App to be Replaced by FACTS Family App
If your family is currently using the older, RenWeb Home app, read on… This summer, the RenWeb Home app will be replaced by the updated FACTS Family app. Beginning on June 1, 2022, families currently using RenWeb Home can log into the app store and download the FACTS Family app to continue accessing their current content. The RenWeb Home app will be officially discontinued on August 15, so families must download the FACTS Family app prior to prevent an interruption in content access. (Please note that families that have already paid the $4.99 app fee for RenWeb Home will not be charged for their FACTS Family app download until their RenWeb Home subscription period is over.)
SUMMER MUSIC LESSONS – Register by May 31
Summer music lessons will be offered at CVCA for students in grades K-12. Courses will include Choir, Voice Class, and Piano Class. More information and registration forms are available HERE. As space is limited, please register by May 31.
CVCA Charity golf classic
CVCA’sAnnual Charity Golf Classic, at the beautiful Glenmoor Country Club, will take place on Monday, June 13. Several sponsorship opportunities are still available, and there is still room (and time) to add several more foursomes. Invite your golf-loving friends to join you for a great day of fun and fellowship at one of the area’s nicest golf venues. Event proceeds directly support CVCA’s need-based financial aid program. CVCA Summer Camps Registration Now Open
CVCA offers summer camps for children ages 7-16. Led by CVCA coaches and varsity athletes, campers enjoy learning new skills and making new friends in a Christ-centered environment. CVCA Maintenance is looking for six summer workers to help get the school and grounds ready for the 2022-2023 school year. The schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 6 to August 5.
