SCHOOL-WIDE

No School on Monday, April 8

CVCA will be closed on Monday, April 8. For the first time since 1806, Ohio is a viewing site for a total solar eclipse that will begin at 1:59 p.m. Because Summit County is projected to receive thousands of visitors, local and county officials have expressed concern regarding heavy and stopped traffic and communication difficulties that could pose a safety risk for students and staff on the roads at that time.

We understand the importance of providing ample time for families to plan for school closures and wanted to let you know as soon as the decision was approved. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the well-being of our students and staff.
