ISI Alumni Soccer Tournament – December 22

CVCA Soccer is hosting the 16th Annual ISI Christmas Soccer Tournament on Thursday, December 22 at 6:30 p.m. All alumni of the CVCA Soccer program are invited to the 7v7 soccer tournament in the Royals Field House.

Spring Musical Auditions – January 11-12

Annual Junior Royals Night at the Boys Varsity Basketball Game – January 13

Don’t miss this exciting annual event on Friday, January 13, 2023. Check-in will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Rasnick Center, and the game will start at 7:00 p.m. Registration is limited to the first 50 Junior Royals. REGISTER HERE

All Junior Royals will receive a snack bag, mini basketballs, and a chance to win a team-signed basketball and Sky Zone Birthday Party for ten valued at $280. Ten Junior Royals Club members will also win the opportunity to shoot baskets on the court with the Royals mascot during half-time.

SOBE Business Pitch Night – January 18

The Cleveland Research Company and CVCA’s School of Business & Entrepreneurship present the 8th Annual Business Pitch Night on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the CVCA Chapel 5:30-8:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Come support the SOBE seniors as their teams present big idea business plans to a panel of judges, competing for cash prizes! Junior Royals Girls Cheer Event – January 21

Join us for our first annual Girls Junior Royals Cheer Event on Saturday, January 21. The girls will attend a cheer clinic at 10:30 a.m. to prepare for their halftime show at the Girl’s Varsity Basketball game at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Congratulations to our middle school academic challenge team

On December 10, CVCA’s Middle School Academic Challenge team participated in the Copley Invitational. The team ended the day with a winning record, and captain Ben Choi was the 6th highest scorer out of the tournament’s 112 participants. Congrats to Ben and the rest of the team (Shane Cook, Colin Crocker, Juliette Govia, Drew Houston, and Cain Robinson) on their success!

Winter Sports Tickets Update

CVCA will continue to sell tickets and passes online at For hockey and swim/dive, tickets will only be available online. For basketball and wrestling, cash sales at the gate will be available in addition to online sales. No tickets are required for bowling.

Winter Sports Livestream

CVCA will live stream all home basketball games and all home wrestling matches held in Tim Beyerle Memorial Gymnasium this winter. Those games will be streamed through the NFHS Network (subscription required) at In addition, the CVCA live stream crew will broadcast all home hockey games on YouTube at Some away games will be live-streamed; however, be careful with links posted on social media, especially in the comments section. These are almost always spam and can be harmful.
