Facilities Associate

The Position:

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is seeking a Facilities Associate. This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the entire CVCA complex, including all buildings, grounds, and equipment. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs day-to-day inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair of buildings and equipment
  • Responds to emergency situations and evaluates and corrects issues
  • Performs routine maintenance and facility set-up
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Working knowledge of MS Office 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks 
  • Minor level of skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping
  • Ability to perform various tasks with the use of the hands
  • Sharpness of vision with the ability to discern letters, numbers, and objects from a distance
  • Ability to hear sound
  • Ability to discern colors by sight

What you need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical courses or mechanical experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid Ohio Drivers License
