Get Your Royal Evening Tickets for a Chance to Win a Famous Royal Evening Cake!

The Royal Evening is one of our favorite nights of the year, where CVCA families, students, alumni, and friends come together to celebrate God’s faithfulness. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Tickets can be purchased HERE. One winner will be drawn from all tickets purchased by today, Monday, April 6. The winner will be announced and receive a cake at the Royal Evening at the end of the Cake Auction.

(Royal Evening ticket purchases and auction purchases are made through One Cause, our premier auction software.)

The Royal Evening is a true community effort. It takes a dedicated team to bring this event to life, and with such a wide variety of roles, there’s a perfect spot for everyone! Iowa Testing and Delayed Start – April 7

On Tuesday, April 7, students in grades 9 & 10 will take the IOWA test. The testing session begins at 7:50 a.m. Due to testing, we will have a delayed start eight-period day. School will begin at 9:22 a.m. for all students. Students in grades 6-8 and 11-12 who arrive early and do not test will not have access to lockers or locker rooms until testing is complete, and must report to the Rasnick Center until the testing session is finished. Parents may drop students off at the Rasnick Center entrance from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m.

THE ROYAL THEATRE SPRING MUSICAL – TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Don’t miss this year’s Spring Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Enjoy this upbeat and immensely entertaining story of Joseph and his coat of many colors at one of our evening shows on April 24, 25, 29, and May 1; or at the matinee on May 2. Tickets are available HERE.

The Junior Royals Night at the Royal Theatre is on Wednesday, April 29, with general admission seating. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased HERE or at the door with a check or cash. Junior Royals receive one free admission ticket and VIP treatment at check-in. Family members pay standard admission.

Bus Transportation Survey

We are exploring new transportation solutions. We are currently partnering with Walsh Jesuit to evaluate the viability of another shared bus route.

Please complete this brief survey to help us gauge interest in bussing if you live in Streetsboro, Kent, or Aurora. This is not a registration, and while we are still working through the logistics, please note that there would be a fee to cover operations.

CVCA SUMMER CAMPS

CVCA offers summer camps for children ages 7-16. Led by CVCA coaches and athletes, teachers, and Royal Theatre directors and student-actors. Campers enjoy learning new skills and making new friends in a Christ-centered environment. Space is limited and camps fill up quickly. Register HERE.

Health Clinic Notices

In the coming weeks, the Health Clinic will mail letters to the following groups of students:

  • Incoming 7th-graders for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Incoming 12th-graders for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Any students with vaccination exemptions on file

They will also reach out via email to those with missing vaccination records who are not in the groups listed above. Please be on the lookout!

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

City of Stow Senior Banners

Families who live in Stow-Munroe Falls can honor their graduating seniors with a commemorative banner displayed on the grounds of Stow City Center. The banners will be on display through June 30, and then can be picked up at at City Hall. Orders must be made HERE today.

Junior-Senior Prom – May 9

All juniors and seniors are invited to attend this year’s Masquerade-themed Prom on Saturday, May 9, at Quaker Station (135 S. Broadway St., Akron 44308). Ticket sales will take place online from April 22 to May 5, with payment made through FACTS, parents will receive an email with the link.

  • A parent-signed Prom Waiver is required to purchase a ticket.
  • Non-CVCA guests may attend upon invitation with a completed Guest Waiver, a picture of their driver’s license or student ID, and signed approval of an administrator from the guest school.
  • Please review the Formal Event Attire Standards before purchasing prom apparel.

Military Service Academy Informational Seminar – April 20

High school students are invited to a military informational seminar at Hudson High School (2500 Hudson Aurora Rd, Hudson, OH 44236) on Monday, April 20, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Meet representatives from the Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Military, and Naval Academies, learn about the application and interview process for each office, ask questions, and learn which academy is right for you!

A.C.E. Academy Camp – June 8-12

Students who will be in grades 9-12 in the 2026-2027 school year are invited to an Aeronautics Exploration camp June 8-12 at Kent State Airport. The deadline to apply for the A.C.E. Camp is May 8. Learn more and apply HERE.

Volunteers Needed for Visual Arts Show – May 4

CVCA is gearing up for our Annual Visual Art Show on Monday, May 4, 2026 and we need your help to make it a masterpiece! We are looking for a few energetic volunteers to assist with the setup and cleanup of the gallery space, as well as friendly faces to monitor our refreshment station and “Notes to the Artist” table throughout the event. Rooted Royals – Moms in Prayer

Did you know Moms in Prayer prays for CVCA? Did you know each student, by name, is prayed over and for? Join us next Monday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. as we begin prayer for each 11th grade student and the needs of this community. Can’t join in person? That’s OK. CLUB & EXTRACURRICULARS UPDATES

Student Photo Contest

CVCA students are invited to participate in the Yearbook Photo Contest. Students should submit 1-3 of their best photos to yearbook@cvcaroyals.org (with the subject “Photo Contest”) and include a message explaining the photo and the reason behind it. Judges outside of Yearbook will select the winners. First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive a prize, and their photos will be featured in the yearbook. The submission deadline is April 13.

CVCA Racing Club

All students are invited to join the CVCA Racing Club each Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the shed near the Softball Field. Come check out what we’re all about!

ATHLETICS UPDATES

ATHLETIC YARD SIGNS
