I first heard about CVCA when my younger sister transferred here as a sophomore. I have always had a strong desire to teach in a Christian setting, so learning about CVCA and its mission immediately stood out to me. Having attended public school and college, I was excited by the opportunity to be part of a community where faith is at the center of education. The opportunity to work in an environment where people seek to serve and uplift one another while investing in the next generation academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually was something I knew I wanted to be part of. I truly felt that God was calling me to teach in a place where I could not only help students grow academically but also encourage them in their faith and walk alongside them as they grow into who God has created them to be.
