2026 DR Trip Updates
JUNE 9, 2026:
What a wonderful trip we’ve had!
I have been so proud of your sons and daughters this week. They have served selflessly and have been quick to encourage their peers to chase after Christ. It was a joy to hear them share Monday morning and evening all that God has done in their life this week. Our team is excited to share with you what God has done as a result of this trip. It was so encouraging to hear many of our students profess before their peers their commitment to be “all in” in their relationship with Jesus. Please pray that the fruit of this trip will be long-lasting.
Just as a reminder, we will embark from the Dominican Republic today, Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Our plan is to arrive back later this evening at CVCA. Please plan to meet us at the school, your students should be able to update you with any changes once we arrive in Baltimore.

JUNE 7, 2026:
Thank you for your continued prayers for our team. We have been so encouraged to see God at work over the last few days.
Saturday evening, our students spent personal time with the Lord in silent solitude. Our leaders were able to connect with each student and pray with them as they were processing that time with the Lord. Please be praying for God to continue to move in the lives of our students.
We will spend part of the day on Monday distributing gifts (food and clothing) to a local village. Our desire is to encourage them and share the Gospel as we finish off our final days here together. There is much to celebrate as we give thanks for all God has done on our trip. We would continue to ask for your prayers as we prepare to transition back home on Tuesday.
On behalf of our entire team, thank you for all the prayer support you have given to us. The Lord has really been at work in and through our team this week. We’re excited to share those stories with you when we return.

JUNE 5, 2026:
Dear DR Parents,
Thanks for your continued prayers and support. We have had the wonderful opportunity to serve and spend the last two days working in the villages. God has used this time as we have served in a variety of ways (medical, mixing and pouring concrete, installing a new roof, painting, sharing Bible stories, prayer walks, crafts, and simply playing and laughing with the children in each location). It has been so encouraging to see our group serving in these ways.
Our evenings have been filled with attending local church services. Students have been able to share testimonies and lead in singing with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
On Friday evening, our group will gather for worship and prayer as a team. This will lead to a time of solitude on Saturday evening. We covet your prayers as they spend time in silent worship with the Lord.
Parents, we are so thankful for your prayers. God is at work, and the team is responding well to His leading.
Thanks for praying with us and for us over the coming days.

JUNE 2, 2026:
Thank you so much for all your prayers for our travels today.
We are very grateful to the Lord as we had a very smooth travel day today. Your students were great. I am proud of how they managed a long travel day with patience, willingness to serve and flexibility as we navigated through the day. We are excited for the days ahead and look forward to seeing how God will work in and through us. We’re also excited to get some rest in our very warm Dominican bunks.
