Study Abroad Program and Scholarship Opportunity

Students currently taking Spanish 2, 3, or 4 at CVCA are invited to participate in the Study Abroad Program at our sister school, the Doulos Discovery School (DDS), in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic.

To encourage students from both schools to experience what it is like to live and learn cross-culturally, CVCA and DDS have worked together to offer a scholarship program. Two partial scholarships of $1,000 each are available for Spring 2018 to CVCA students who desire to increase their knowledge of Spanish and deepen their relationship with the Lord through their studies at Doulos. The scholarship application deadline is November 3, 2017.

Sharing Bibles with our Rivals

This season the CVCA Football Team decided to hand out Bibles to their opponents after each home football game. In doing so, they accepted the challenge to represent Christ through their actions both on and off the field. This responsibility has made an impact on our players and has provided many opportunities to share God’s Word with other young men. To date, over 150 Bibles have been handed out. Please pray that these Bibles will open the hearts of those who read them.
