Middle School Parent Meetings and our Community Open House are great ways to introduce CVCA to the community and new families. Are you parents of a current 5th grader or plan to enroll a new student next year? We’d love to meet with you. Please share these dates with friends and family who wish to learn more about attending CVCA.
Community Open House:
October 20 | 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Middle School Parent Informational Meetings:
November 2 | 9:00-10:30 a.m. and 6:30-8:00 p.m.
First Quarter Report Cards
Student report cards for the first quarter will be released on Tuesday, October 17.
Fall Choir Concert
Enjoy an evening of music at CVCA on Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 p.m.
CVCA Apparel Store
Shop the CVCA Royals Apparel Store for uniform and spirit wear. Hurry, the shop closes October 23!
Senior Composite Photo: All seniors are required to have a FREE senior picture take for the wall composite and yearbook by Woodard Photographic no later than October 21. Any student missing the deadline may be subject to a late fee and the possibility of his/her picture not included in the yearbook.
Senior Announcements: Orders for formal graduation announcements will be taken on October 18.
Don’t Miss “Cheaper by the Dozen”
CVCA’s Fall Play, Cheaper by the Dozen, is sure to be a great hit. Performances will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18. Tickets will go on sale on October 30 for $12 and $8.

Pittsburgh Project Meeting
All freshmen and their parents are invited to an informational meeting on Monday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Learning Commons to learn more about the Pittsburgh Project mission trip. The freshmen trip will be June 10-16, 2018. The interested student and at least one parent should attend. Applications and deposits are due to the SMO by Friday, November 17.
Royals Winter Sports
Royal Card: CVCA student athletes are required to present their Royal Card to their head coach on the first day of try-outs/practice. The Royal Card is obtained through a four-step process. (Fall athletes will need to pick up a new card from the athletic office to turn in to their winter coach. If everything is turned in and still current, no additional paperwork is required.)
Preseason Parent Meeting: The winter sports preseason meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
2nd Annual Royal Reindeer Run
The Royal Reindeer Run is back! Join us for this fun event on Saturday, December 16 for the 5k, 1-mile family fun run/walk and pancake breakfast. All proceeds benefit the CVCA Athletic Boosters and the Perry Carroscia Memorial Scholarship.
Join the CVCA Ski Club!
Dates: Mondays, January 8 through March (until the snow is gone!)
Who: All CVCA students and their family members, ages 8 to 18, are welcome to join.
Includes: Ski Club includes a snow pass for every Monday, 5 lessons, and 4 value passes. (A $10 value pass can be used towards an all-day snow pass at Boston Mills, Brandywine, or Alpine Valley, a snow tubing session, or latenight session. It can be used by the ski club member, a friend, or family member and includes rental.)
Transportation: CVCA provides bus transportation to Brandywine for $30 for the season (payable to CVCA). Students must be picked up at Brandywine. To ride the CVCA bus, students need to turn in a Transportation Permission Form.
Sign-up: Sign up and pay online by November 20 to receive passes before Christmas Break and to avoid late fees. The final deadline to sign up and pay is December 22.

Moody Founders Week
Join other CVCA students and adults for Moody Founder’s week, February 7-10, 2018. Our tour bus will leave school on Wednesday morning, February 7 and return Saturday evening, February 10. Cost will be approximately $350 for students and $450 for adults. Cost includes tour bus, hotel, several meals and some events.
