CVCA Turned 50 on Thursday! Help us Celebrate this Friday!

The CVCA 50th Anniversary celebration begins on Friday! Everyone in the CVCA community is invited to participate in this week’s much-anticipated events. We look forward to celebrating with YOU, our current families. You are invited to the Open House on Friday afternoon, and we would love to fellowship with you at Friday evening’s Worship Service. During this CVCA-style Chapel worship service, we will praise the Lord for His faithfulness to CVCA over the past 50 years. Worship will be led by L.T. Newland and Matt Fleagle, CVCA faculty and alumni. All are welcome to this free event.

Study Abroad Information Meeting and Scholarship Opportunity

An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 pm in the Learning Commons regarding the International Student Program. If you are interested in or just curious about getting involved in ISP through long and short-term hosting, 2019 Jterm STEP trips, or the Doulos Study Abroad program, join us! If you can’t make the meeting or have questions, please email Ellen Rasper.

CVCA students in Spanish 2, 3, or 4 are invited to participate in the Study Abroad Program at the Doulos Discovery School (DDS), in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic for the 2018 fall semester. To encourage students from both schools to experience living and learning cross-culturally, CVCA and DDS offer a scholarship program. Two partial scholarships of $1,000 each are available to CVCA students who desire to increase their knowledge of Spanish and deepen their relationship with the Lord through their studies at Doulos. The scholarship application deadline is March 16, 2018. Learn more HERE.

2018-2019 Re-enrollment Deadline is April 6

It is important for each student to communicate their intent to re-enroll for the next school year by completing the re-enrollment process. This can be done online through ParentsWeb from any device with internet access. Please complete and submit the online packet by April 6, 2018. After April 6, the re-enrollment fee will increase by $100. It is also very important for families who need financial aid to re-enroll so they are eligible to also apply for Financial Aid. Our initial Financial Aid Deadline is also April 6, 2018. Please remember endowed scholarship applications are also due by April 6, 2018.  If you have questions regarding re-enrollment, please contact Mindy Fullerton. If you plan to enroll a 6th grader for next school year, be sure to get your application in soon as space is limited.

EdChoice Renewal and Re-enrollment

If your student is attending CVCA with an EdChoice Scholarship, your student must be re-registered by April 6 and your scholarship must be renewed by April 30! To re-register, submit your student’s enrollment packet which can be found in Parents Web via “Family Information” and “Enrollment/Re-enrollment.’ Then, turn in your EdChoice renewal forms (with current proof of address) as well as Income Verification Forms (with proof of all forms of income) to Mindy Fullerton. You should have received renewal forms in the mail from the State of Ohio. Or you can download the forms at: EdChoice Scholarship Renewal Form and EdChoice Income Verification Form.
