Invite a Family to our Community Open House – February 9

Please help us spread the word about CVCA! Invite friends, neighbors, and family members to our Community Open House on Friday, February 9, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Your invitation makes a real difference in introducing CVCA to new families. Open House attendees will receive FREE tickets to that evening’s varsity boys basketball game! All of the information is available HERE.

 

Re-enrollment for the 2018-2019 School Year

Re-enrollment packets were recently sent to current families via email. The re-enrollment process is done on-line, so please look for this important information. If you did not receive your Re-enrollment email information or if you have questions, please contact Mindy Fullerton. If you plan to enroll a 6th grader for next school year, be sure to get your application in soon as space is limited.

Girls Softball Meeting – January 30

All girls (7-12th grade) interested in softball should attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, January 30 during Lunch A and Lunch B in the Athletic Department Conference Room. Tryout dates for the Middle School Club Team will be discussed along with other important information.

 

 

Middle School Boys Lacrosse Parent Meeting – February 7

7th and 8th grade boys – join the 2018 Middle School Lacrosse Team! The CVCA club program will start its 6th season this spring. A parent meeting will be held on February 7 at 3:15 p.m. in the CVCA cafeteria. Conditioning will begin February 17. If you are a fall or winter athlete, lacrosse is a fast-paced, challenging game and a great off-season conditioning program. Look for information and emails coming your way over the next several weeks, or contact Nancy DiBlasi or Greg Gilley.

Choir Spaghetti Dinner and Concert Fundraiser – February 2

Support the CVCA choirs while enjoying an evening of good food and music on Friday, February 2, 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the CVCA Cafeteria. Tickets are $7.00 at the door. Children under 5 are free.

Performance Times:

  • 5:40 p.m. | Women’s Chorale
  • 6:00 p.m. | Middle School Choir
  • 6:20 p.m. | Gospel Choir
  • 6:45 p.m. | Concert Choir
  • 6:50 p.m. | Chamber Singers

ACT and SAT Classes Offered at CVCA

Taking the ACT and/or SAT this semester? Prepare for these important tests by taking a Prep Class at CVCA! SAT classes will be held at CVCA in February. For $155, students receive The Official SAT Study Guide, take a practice exam, and learn testing strategies and techniques. The February dates are (students attend all 3 sessions) Saturdays, February 17, 24, and March, 8:00 a.m. to noon. Please register using THIS FORM. Endowed Scholarship Applications

The endowed scholarship application should be filled out by the STUDENT and then reviewed by the parent prior to submission. Please note that the student must be signed into their CVCA email (Google account) to access the application.

Big News! CVCA will Soon Celebrate 50 Years!

The 19th Annual Royal Evening on March 17, 2018 is the signature event in celebrating 50 years of CVCA – join us as we celebrate where God has taken His school and our hope for the future!

The excitement of celebrating 50 years could not be contained to only the Royal Evening, so it has grown into a number of events now part of the 50th Anniversary of CVCA: A Weekend Celebrating 50 Years.
