Royal Evening – A Fun Night of Giving to CVCA

Parents, now is the time to order your tickets to this year’s Royal Evening on Saturday, March 16 at 5:00 p.m. This annual event is a community highlight of the school calendar that you don’t want to miss. A plated dinner, silent auction, live auction, friends, laughter, and more makes the Royal Evening a memorable and fun night of giving to the Lord’s work at CVCA. Grade-level tables are available for you to sit with other parents. Tickets are for sale online at cvcaroyals.org/royal-evening/.

One CVCA parent reflected on her experience at the Royal Evening: “Last year a CVCA family invited my husband and me to attend the Royal Evening. We were in the middle of the application process for our son to start 7th grade at CVCA, and we didn’t know many people at CVCA. We truly enjoyed the evening. We met so many current CVCA parents, grandparents, and alumni. The most special takeaway was the love for the students at CVCA. God is good, and He is working through this school to touch many families and children. Money was raised to help pay for students to attend the school. We feel blessed to be a part of the CVCA family.” – Jan Howard, parent of 7th grader

New Parent Partners Video: How do I Help my Kids Understand the Dangers of Porn?

We know our kids are exposed to pornography – we know this a battle ground. Having these conversations with our kids helps create a place where we can help support and help them fight back against what they are being confronted with daily. God created sexuality for marriage and we want to affirm what is good and what is holy. We are constantly working to direct our kids hearts and minds to things of Christ.

CVCA Swimmers Finish Well at State Meet

On Saturday, junior Josh Wodrich and senior Mac Hancock competed in the OHSAA Division II Swimming State Championship finals. Josh Wodrich swam the 100 back and placed 7th in the state as he tied his PR time. Josh is the first CVCA swimmer to reach the podium in an individual event at the State Meet!
