Prospective Parent Meeting – February 26 and 28

Do you know someone interested in attending CVCA? Invite them to one of the upcoming Middle and High School Prospective Parent Meetings. Families will learn about our programs and curriculum, take a campus tour, get any of their questions answered, and hear from our administration. Two meeting times are available: Tuesday, February 26, 9:00-10:30 a.m. (space is limited) and Thursday, February 28, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Royal Evening Tickets on Sale TODAY

The wait is over! Tickets to the 20th Annual CVCA Royal Evening are available online starting TODAY at cvcaroyals.org/royal-evening. This much-anticipated CVCA community-wide event is a celebration of God’s faithfulness to the school and an opportunity to raise funds for student financial assistance. Everyone in the CVCA community is invited and encouraged to attend this fun night of giving to the Lord’s ministry at CVCA. Keep an eye on your mailbox as formal invitations will arrive soon. Invite friends or make plans to sit with other parents at grade-level tables.

The invitation will include opportunities for corporate or family sponsorships. The “Friend of CVCA/Faculty Sponsorship” is a great way to support CVCA, as your donation will provide ten tickets for faculty and staff to attend the Royal Evening. Course Selections for 2019-2020

You will receive an email tomorrow with details on the course selection process for the 2019-2020 school year. This is a great time to take a look at the CVCA Academic Catalogs and help your student(s) determine what courses they would like to select.

Moody Founder’s Week – February 6-9

A group of CVCA students, parents, and faculty will travel to Moody Bible Institute this week for their annual Moody Founder’s Week. You can be part of this inspirational time by listening to the speakers online. More information is available HERE.

Continuous Enrollment Reminder

Last week our 7th to 11th grade families were sent an important email regarding Continuous Enrollment that included an important link to the Continuous Enrollment Agreement Form. The deadline to complete the form is March 31. Please take a few minutes to read the email and complete the form. More information on Continuous Enrollment is available HERE.

Middle School Girls Softball Meeting – February 14

Middle school girls interested in playing softball should attend an informational meeting on Thursday, February 14 during their lunch periods in the gym lobby (near the trophy case). The middle school girls softball club is open to all girls in grades 6, 7, and 8, regardless of experience. This meeting will determine the feasibility of having a team for the 2019 season.

Junior Royals Basketball Night – February 15

Junior Royals members are invited to the CVCA men’s varsity basketball game on Friday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. Every Junior Royals will get in FREE, receive a snack voucher and Snoopy plush toy, and participate in halftime activities. They will also have the chance to win a signed CVCA team basketball and an ice cream party for ten at Sweet Frog! More information is available on the Junior Royals webpage. Questions? Baseball Youth Clinic – March 2

The CVCA Athletic Department will offer a Baseball Clinic on Saturday, March 2 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. for baseball players ages 6-14. The clinic will cover the fundamentals of baseball in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and joy for the game. Skill instruction will include: infield play, hitting, pitching, catching, base running, and outfield play. Cost of the clinic is $25. More information is available on the CVCA Athletics website.
