Prom Tickets on Sale this Week

The 2019 Junior-Senior Prom, A Night to Remember, will be held at the Sheraton Suites on Friday, May 10. Tickets will be for sale Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3. Signed waivers are required for both CVCA students and non-CVCA guests to purchase tickets. Waivers and more information are available HERE>>

Summer Courses at CVCA – Register by Tuesday, April 30

Courses for high school credit will be available July 8-26, 2019 in Speech and Debate, Computer Concepts, and Health. The registration cost increases after April 30, so register soon! Learn more and register HERE>>.

Congratulations to the Symphonic Band

The CVCA Symphonic Band received a rating of 2 (the next to highest rating) at the state-level band contest on Saturday, April 27. CVCA was one of only 69 bands in the entire state of Ohio in our class that that made it to the state-level contest. Congratulations!

Girls Soccer Parent Meeting – Wednesday, May 1

The girls soccer parents’ meeting will be on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Anne Tell Chapel. Meet the coaching staff and learn more about our program values, team communication, and our summer calendar.

Ladies Launch – Wednesday, May 1

Eighth grade girls and their moms are invited to a special evening to commemorate the end of middle school and the beginning of high school. Ladies Launch will take place on Wednesday, May 1 at 6:00 p.m. in the Learning Commons. Come for encouragement and wisdom as you celebrate and prepare for what’s to come. Enjoy a time of fun, worship, refreshments, and a panel discussion with high school students and mentors. Our hope is to both celebrate and introduce you to some resources for the coming years and answer questions to help make the transition a smooth one. RSVP>>.

SOBE Business Night – Wednesday, May 8

The 2019 SOBE Marketing Event will be held on May 8 at 5:00 p.m. SOBE juniors have partnered with local businesses to design a marketing plan that they hope will increase the awareness and profitability of each business. At this event, the juniors will present to a panel of marketing experts and their local businesses partners for a chance at cash prizes and the title of “Marketing Pitch Champions.” Please join us for this special, public event. 2019-2020 Cheer Clinic & Tryouts – May 13, 16, 17

Cheer Clincs will be held on May 13 and 16, 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the CVCA small gymnasium. Tryouts will be on May 17 at 3:30 p.m., also in the small gym. All participants must pick up a tryout packet from the Athletic Office and bring the signed paper to the May 13 clinic in order to participate. Senior Exams – May 13-15

Senior Exams will be given May 13, 14 and 15. Teachers will communicate to their students directly whether they are required to take each exam. Seniors with a B- or better for both 3rd and 4th quarter are not required to take a semester exam.

International Student Host Families for 2019-2020

International student hosting is a great way for your entire family to experience another culture right in your own home as well as share the love of Christ. The impact you make on a student could reach around the world! We currently have 14 international students enrolled for the Fall 2019 semester and are taking applications for host families for them.
