Worshiping and Learning Together During RESONATE

Partnering with Grace Church, CVCA once again gathered for our spring RESONATE. We had a wonderful time worshiping together as both a high school and middle school all gathered in the gym. Pastor Jeff Bogue challenged our students to think Biblically about their dating relationships, explaining that a Biblical, Christ-honoring dating relationship will look foolish in our current culture, but our faith in Christ should radically influence how we interact with one another.

Re-enrollment Deadline THIS WEEK – April 6

It is important for each student to communicate their intent to re-enroll for the next school year by completing the re-enrollment process. This can be done online through ParentsWeb from any device with internet access. Please complete and submit the online packet by April 6, 2018. After April 6, the re-enrollment fee will increase by $100. Our initial Financial Aid Deadline is also April 6, 2018. Please remember endowed scholarship applications are also due by April 6, 2018.  If you have questions regarding re-enrollment, please contact Mindy Fullerton. If you plan to enroll a 6th grader for next school year, be sure to get your application in soon as space is very limited.

EdChoice Renewal and Re-enrollment Due This Week

If your student is attending CVCA with an EdChoice Scholarship, your student must be re-registered by April 6 and your scholarship must be renewed by April 30! To re-register, submit your student’s enrollment packet which can be found in Parents Web via “Family Information” and “Enrollment/Re-enrollment.’ Then, turn in your EdChoice renewal forms (with current proof of address) as well as Income Verification Forms (with proof of all forms of income) to Mindy Fullerton. You should have received renewal forms in the mail from the State of Ohio. Or you can download the forms at: EdChoice Scholarship Renewal Form and EdChoice Income Verification Form.

SAT and ACT Aspire Standardized Testing – April 10

On Tuesday, April 10, students in grades 7-10 will take the ACT Aspire test, and students in grade 11 will take the SAT test.

GRADES 7, 8, 9, 10:  7th through 10th graders will be testing from 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. These students will have a break for lunch and may bring lunch or purchase in the Cafeteria.

GRADE 11: Students in Grade 11 will take the SAT from 7:50 a.m. to noon. They should plan to leave campus after testing if possible. Due to younger grades testing throughout the building, 11th graders who stay at CVCA after the SAT test concludes will not have access to their lockers or the Cafeteria. They will remain in a supervised area where they may quietly sit to read or study for the remainder of the day. Please plan accordingly.

GRADE 12: 12th graders will have April 10th off for Senior Skip Day!

Prospective Parent Night – April 10
