High School Athletics

Important Sports Information

Prior to participation in any practices or try-outs, every athlete must obtain a Royal Card which requires:

• Completed OHSAA Sports Physical Form
• Signed ODH Concussion Information Sheet
• Paid Athletic Fee
• Completed ODH Sudden Cardiac Arrest Signature Form

Physicals will be offered at CVCA on July 19 at 6:00 p.m. for $20. They are valid for an entire year.

The OHSAA requires a High School athlete be enrolled in and pass at least 5 one-credit courses in the previous quarter. CVCA has additional academic requirements. See the CVCA Student Handbook.

CVCA is a member of the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) and the Principals’ Conference (Manchester, Fairless, Triway, Tuslaw, Northwest, Orrville).

High School Fall Sports

Football practice/try outs are 7/30.  All Other high school official practices/try-outs begin Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Most teams have an off-season conditioning program. Contact the head coach of your sport to receive sport related e-mails and summer workout information. If you do not hear from the head coach, please contact CVCA’s Athletic Director, Jon Young.
