Your role as a grandparent is crucial as you cheer on your grandchild(ren) and champion their Christian education and experience at CVCA. Make Plans to Attend CVCA’s
2023 Grandparents Day
You will soon receive an invitation to CVCA’s annual Grandparents Days! This year, two dates are being offered based on your grandchild’s last name:
- Students with Last Names A-K: Monday, November 20, 2023 – 7:30-10:00 a.m.
- Students with Last Names L-M: Tuesday, November 21, 2023 – 7:30-10:00 a.m.
We hope you will join us for this special time with your grandchild(ren) as you get to know their school a little better. The mailed invitation will include the details for the morning and an RSVP card to return. We’re excited to see you!

We are pleased to provide a special page on our website just for CVCA grandparents! You’ll easily find access to the School Calendar, the Royal Weekly newsletter, Mission Moments videos from our school President and more! Check out the page occasionally as we will add new information and opportunities throughout the year.
To access the Grandparents page from our home page (cvcaroyals.org), use the “Support” tab on the right-hand side where you will find “Grandparents” in the drop-down menu.

Join the CVCA Heritage Society
You can make a direct impact on your grandchild’s education by becoming a financial supporter of CVCA. With a gift of $1,000 or more, you will receive grandparent gifts and enjoy a special gathering with CVCA President Jason Spodnik on Grandparents Day!

Join Moms in Prayer
Did you know that CVCA’s Moms in Prayer group prays for your grandchild(ren) by name during the school year? We would love to have our CVCA grandmothers join us on Friday mornings, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at CVCA.
You are also invited to receive the weekly prayer list and join with the group in prayer from your home! Simply use the button below to email your request for the prayer list.
Become a CVCA Volunteer
There are many opportunities to volunteer at CVCA, including helping with the annual Royal Evening gala, supporting Admissions activities and events, serving as a Schools of Distinction mentor, or offering skills in landscaping, baking, and decorating.

2023-2024 Chapel Banner
Each year, our Chapels are centered around a theme, called our “banner.” This year’s theme is “Come and See.” Throughout the year, various teachers and special guests will teach our students, faculty, and staff about the Gospel of John. We want each of our students to “Come and See” Jesus in the Scriptures and to have a personal relationship with him. You can learn more about our banner through the button below.
Homecoming 2023
Fall is filled with such fun school activities. One of our favorites is Homecoming Week! This year students enjoyed themed clothing days, pep rallies, an outreach drive supporting Akron’s Haven of Rest, the Friday night football game and Homecoming Court recognition, and a neon-themed Homecoming dance.
We also enjoyed the return of many of our alumni for the Homecoming game where they enjoyed food trucks, lots of treats, and prizes, and lots of fun!
