Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. Job Summary:

This position provides student supervision during the school day, lunch, and study hall class periods.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide student supervision during the day for assigned study hall locations. This includes handling attendance, sign-in/out procedures, and managing a PRT and/or a quiet study hall in the designated location.
  • Active monitoring of students to ensure they remain in the study hall and address any behavior concerns that may arise. At times, this may involve communication and collaboration with teachers or parents.
  • Provide student supervision during the lunch periods each day
  • Assist with cleaning up after lunch and preparing the location for the next class period (i.e., cleaning tables, storing chairs, etc.)
  • Monitor students during the lunch line and at student dismissal for the restroom, office, and recess (if applicable).
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of one year working with students in a school setting

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment
  • Standing, bending, sitting, walking, lifting
