Support CVCA

How You Can Help

God has been faithful to Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. It is because of His faithfulness and grace that CVCA continues Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ.

We are dedicated to providing students with excellent educational and co-curricular opportunities while keeping CVCA accessible.

Through fundraising, grant seeking, events, and donations the Development team combines the generous help of alumni, parents, friends, and foundations to bring changes and improvements both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you for your support of CVCA!

Each school year there are a variety of ways to get involved and help make an impact in students’ lives. Through volunteering your time you will come alongside faculty and staff in order to serve students.

Some of these opportunities include: mentoring students in the Schools of Distinction, coaching a sports team, helping with Royal Theatre, using creativity to help plan events, and assisting with administrative tasks.

We are grateful for the hundreds of volunteers who continue to pour into CVCA and bless students–we could not do it without your help!

Giving Tuesday

Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

Our founders worked hard to ensure students would receive a Christ-centered, quality education and be a light to all those around them. We are proud to say that this mission is still true today.

As you walk through the halls of CVCA you will see it is the people who provide the ministry and aid our students during some of the most formative years of their lives. We are blessed with devoted faculty and staff who intentionally invest in each student, pray for them, and serve as Godly role models in their lives.

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to support not only the mission of Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ but also the many people who help make it possible.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a day, after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, set aside to give thanks. CVCA participates in this global giving campaign to support the Kingdom work that CVCA is doing. Giving on Giving Tuesday impacts students’ lives for Christ and helps further the mission and vision of CVCA.

December 2014 began the first annual Giving Tuesday campaign at CVCA, but we encourage this way of thinking to continue throughout the year. Every gift, no matter the size, has a far-reaching, eternal impact as students learn more about who God made them to be.

Ways To Give Financially

Giving, whether through time, talent, or treasure is vital in continuing our mission of Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ.

We are passionate about helping make it possible for students to attend CVCA. The Lord’s faithfulness is evident throughout the school as students grow closer to Christ in an environment where they are cared for and mentored while being held to academic excellence.

Giving to CVCA is an investment in Kingdom work which holds eternal value. We invite you to look into the various ways in which you can invest in students’ lives.

Giving to CVCA creates:

        • The opportunity for students to receive a Christian education
        • Need-based financial aid for students and their families
        • Academic and co-curricular enhancements, providing an advanced learning environment

Current Needs

Annual Giving

CVCA is built on a foundation of Christ with a commitment to accessibility. Annual Giving is a big part of our success in Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. This yearly campaign supports ongoing needs and allows for the long term strength of CVCA and a well-rounded education for students. Every gift matters!

Tools for Transforming Tomorrow

This vision campaign not only helps develop the physical plant of the school, but also provides a strategic environment to meet the critical needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Step 1: Completed; Paid in Full
Step 2: Building completed Winter 2012; We have almost finished this step!

Endowed Scholarships

Joshua Endowment

Established in 2006 through the Joshua Campaign, this endowment provides need-based financial assistance for eligible families.

Deblander Endowment

With generous support from the DeBlander family and many in the community of CVCA, the Deblander Endowment provides supplemental need-based tuition assistance for qualifying students.

Endowed Student Scholarships

Endowed scholarships are given to returning students each year who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement, spiritual maturity, and a community mindset. Students also have the opportunity to apply for endowed scholarships. These scholarships are open to all current students and are evaluated based on leadership, service, alignment with CVCA mission, and academic performance.

Through creating or contributing to an endowed scholarship you are meeting an on-going need that benefits CVCA students. Supporting students in this way and recognizing their efforts is part of Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ.

Philosophy On Gifts

In a letter to the church in Corinth, Paul encouraged their generosity saying, “This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God” (2 Corinthians 9:12 NIV). We appreciate your support and are grateful for each gift, however we do not publish names with gift amounts as we believe this is between your heart and God’s.

Many families and businesses sponsored holes, food, refreshments, and participated to make this another successful day on the course!

The CVCA Charity Golf Classic is our second largest fundraising event which takes place in early summer. By playing in or supporting the golf outing, you are helping Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy provide need-based financial aid. Tuition does not cover the full cost of education at CVCA. Your support enables CVCA to:

        • To continue to provide Christ-honoring excellence in all areas of academic programming.
