The academy combines excellence in academics, spiritual development, and co-curricular opportunities to create an environment where each student is challenged  and motivated. 

Students at CVCA are equipped to make an impact through the context of relationships.  The Student Ministries program at CVCA exists to challenge students in the areas of missions and service. Last year students participated in local as well as international ministry opportunities.  Their geographical impact is far-reaching: Haiti, Nicaragua,  The Dominican Republic, and Norway, to name a few destinations.

Excellence in the highest standards of academics is achieved at CVCA.  A wide variety of Advanced Placement courses are offered, with a number of CVCA students recognized as National Merit Commended Scholars and Finalists each year.  The 2007 graduating class was awarded an outstanding 6.2 million dollars in college scholarships.  Another distinction of this academy, each class is taught from a Christian worldview with an emphasis on Biblical truth throughout the curriculum.

To round out this unique combination, co-curricular activities such as award winning fine arts and athletics help to give CVCA its outstanding reputation in this part of the state.  The competitiveness of CVCA teams has repeatedly advanced the Royals to the state level and produced several state champion athletes.
