As a friend of CVCA, you need to know that every year we strive to create an environment within this school that enables God to transform the hearts and lives of our students.
I graduated from CVCA in 2003 as a product of this wonderful school. As I look back on my time at CVCA, I can truly say that the Lord transformed me through the people who entered my life through this school. After four years of college and two more years of life experience, God brought me back to the place that He used to impact me – and countless other alumni. It is my hope that our students this year will be impacted through similar experiences of their own.
The Advancement office would like to welcome you to the 2011 academic school year at CVCA. With new programs being added (School of Medical Professions) and a new building addition underway it seems fitting that the Student Ministries office has chosen the theme “Building the Kingdom” to emphasize throughout the year in chapel. Being a part of this Kingdom means to follow Jesus. It means to go against what the world teaches, finding true satisfaction and joy.
As we invest in the lives of the students at CVCA, we need your help. Every year we have to raise part of the annual fund through a specific fundraising effort. Spinning off the Student Ministries theme we have named this effort "CVCA's Kingdom Fund." This year we have to raise $220,000 toward CVCA’s Kingdom Fund which supports the people, programs, and students at CVCA. Our commitment to accessibility provides an opportunity for the entire community to support and join us in that vision as we continue to build the Kingdom. Our experience has shown that if we can reach a significant percentage of our goal by year end, we will be on track to finish our goal in the spring. Meeting this goal requires intentionality on the part of CVCA and on the part of our friends.
There has not been a year in recent history when your Annual Fund gift was needed more. In this time of economic uncertainty, know that we are presenting to you an opportunity that can be used by God to be a blessing to the students, faculty, and staff here at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. Please consider investing in CVCA's “Kingdom Fund" today. To recieve more information about our annual fund or to make a contribution, please email jtaylor@cvcaroyals.org
