Moving to Quarter Final rounds were Danielle Parker and Victoria Benyo in Prose and Poetry Reading, Bethany Quigg in Humorous Interpretation and Abby Jones and Allie Kirk in Duo Interpretation. Chris Keslar and Andrew Turscak talked their way to the semi-finals in Student Congress. In Public Forum Debate Joell Maisano and Mitch Prentis made team history by being the first debate team to make it out of the preliminiary rounds and into finals before bowing out. The highlight of the tournament was when, for the second year in a row, CVCA sent a Duo Interpretation team into the Championship Round. Placing 4th in the State was the Duo Interpreation team of Lizzie Engle and Shane Hurst. Congratulations to the entire team for a weekend well done.
