Diakonos (9th through 12th grades) | Diakonos is Koine Greek for "servant." It is the word used by Jesus in Matthew 20:28 "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." It is the calling that all who are redeemed by Christ receive.
Diakonos at CVCA is designed to give students encouragement and opportunities to engage in a life of ministry close to home. It is a place for those who are ready to add "Bible-doing" to the Bible study they receive at CVCA
Open to students in grades 9 - 12, Diakonos meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 AM in Room 130. See Mr. McSparran for more information |
