The Royals softball team finished the season 11-18 and 4-8 in the PAC. The team won the first game of the high school tournament against Rootstown and then lost the sectional final to Waterloo 5-2. This was a great group of young ladies that got along well together and played hard but it was a season of frustration because we all had higher expectations. We will miss our seniors and the leadership they have provided. Katie Keslar, Hanna Eliason, Jessica Barlett and Nicolette Gobor, have been a big part of our program and the success we have had during their years. Katie and Hanna were our team captains and four-year letter winners. Katie was voted PAC 1st team and our (MVP). She has had a great career at CVCA and will finish with almost all season and career pitching records. Julie Keslar was our (Outstanding Offensive player) and PAC honorable mention. Brianna Jones was our (Best Team Player) for her willingness to do anything for the team. Hanna Eliason worked hard to become a solid player and leader of the team. She received (Mighty In Spirit) for a team leader playing for the Lord. Congratulations to these players and the positive part they have played in CVCA softball. Good luck and God bless to our seniors as they move on to what the Lord has for them.
